Stayed here for several nights and it was a phenomenal world class experience. Japanese hospitality is absolutely world class and second to none!
Mimaru Suites Asakusa is a ~5 minute walk from the Asakusa metro station towards the North. This property has 2 bedroom apartments of 644 sq ft with 2 showers along with an in unit washer/dryer!
Booked direct and the check-in process was a breeze, requiring a reconformation of personal details before being presented a room card. There were coffee/tea packs in the lobby along with several items available for loan in the unit.
The lobby floor consisted of a small seating area, vending machine, dog area, and smoking room.
There are 13 floors in the building and the view facing the Tokyo skytree is phenomenal with an unobstructed view!
The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and spotless. Despite being next to the train tracks, there was minmal to no sound as trains stop running towards 1 am and don't start again until ~5 am.
There are 2 TVs in the apartment featuring exclusively Japanese channels. The living area features one long table with 4 seating chairs along with some storage for kitchen appliances. The fully equipped kitchen included a hot plate, conventional/convectional microwave, fridge/freezer, and hot water machine. There was dish soap along with a dish sponge provided.
The washing/dryer machine combo also included a bottle of laundry detergent on top of the machine. There were clear instructions in English on how to use the Japanese washing/dryer combo machine. A wash took an hour or so and a dry takes 1-2 hours.
There is also an in-room safe located in the Entertainment unit underneath the TV in the living area.
Each bedroom featured 2 twin sized beds which were on the softer side and quite low to the ground. The windows were lockable and featured a black out rollaway blinds along with a window covering for utmost privacy.
The sheets were crisp and of excellent quality.
Each bathroom consisted of a separate sink and shower area. Towels were high quality and new. There was complimentary hand foam along with body soap, shampoo, and conditioner inside the shower. The water pressure for the shower room was excellent!
Housekeeping is different at this property. There is daily trash, and towel refreshment while beds, vacuuming are only done every 3 days.

Stayed here on 2 separate occasions in April. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Amenities were more than adequate. But what was outstanding was the service from hotel staff.
In particular, I would like to thank Minae and Lu for helping my family with an urgent issue, and they went over and above their call of duty even till late at night to help us resolve the urgent issue. Such good service really makes an already good place, truly outstanding.
When I am back in Tokyo, I would definitely stay in Mimaru Suites Asakusa. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic accommodations while we were in Tokyo! This was the perfect choice for us for our family of 3 while we stayed in Tokyo. We had the home theater suite, and it was like having our own private apartment, with 2 separate double bedrooms, a living area with a sectional sofa, and a full kitchen. This is a fairly new hotel, so our suite was immaculate, modern, and spotless. Loved having two separate showers too! The lobby is tasteful and well-designed with a modern Japanese aesthetic. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional. The location just can't be beat: close to Asakusa attractions, but yet the subway is literally across the street so you have extremely convenient transportation to the rest of Tokyo right outside. I have lived in Japan over 10 years and my wife is Japanese, so we are quite used to Japanese-style accommodations at various price points - and I would say this place is an absolute gem! Simply could not believe what we were getting for the price! Highly, highly recommended, you just can't go wrong staying here!

Our last stay on a wonderful visit to Japan was this very well situated, well appointed apartment hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was, as usual, spotlessly clean and very practical, with a washing machine, a small kitchenette, a lovely tatami room with screens to relax in and which served as an additional bedroom for our family of four on this visit, with a futon-style foam bed provided in the cupboard. The room also had a nice big table for six to relax around.
The one query we had was over the lack of storage. No cupboard space was provided, just two large hanging spaces for our clothes. However, this in no way affected our holiday.
The hotel is situated near to Asakusa's two stations, almost next door to the very popular Senso-ji temple and right next to the river with perfect views across to the impressive Tokyo Skytree. The riverside also boasts a plethora of cherry trees which we were fortunate to see in blossom for sakura season.
Leaving on the last day, we were able to make a short walk to the station to get a direct train to Haneda Airport, which was a great help. We had a very nice stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment, great staff, great location. The staff spoke pretty good English and were helpful with some subway questions. They also provide the luggage delivery serve with a fee to your next hotel in Japan which was so helpful not to have to take luggage on the subway.

It was pretty convenient in Mimaru Suites. We heated breakfast ourselves by the micro-wave oven in the kitchen, and washing clothes by the washing machine in the room. They kept everything clean everyday during the trip. Overall, their room made our trip more beautiful.

We (two adults and one 8-year-old child) stayed at Mimaru Suites Asakusa Two-Bedroom Theater Suite for five nights. First of all the location is good. Just next to the Asakusa station is a supermarket in the basement. The nearest metro is the Ginza line. The temple and dozens of restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel rooms are bigger than in usual Tokyo hotels. The kitchen has basic amenities, but the hotel staff is happy to provide more without cost. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. We wanted to check in early and could do that against a fee without any issues.
Overall, it is an excellent hotel for a family of one or two children. Clean, comfortable beds, two showers, a functional kitchen, and a washing machine. Value for money in Tokyo. The only thing to note is that the Skytree train line is just in front of the hotel and if you keep the windows open it can be pretty noisy, but if windows are closed you'll hardly notice it.

"I stay with my family, which consists of 2 children. The place is located in Asakusa, which has attractive places to visit. The rooms are spacious and follow a minimalistic style. They are equipped with everything you need, such as a bathtub, stove, microwave, table, and sofa. The rooms are divided into two separate rooms, each having a comfortable bed. There is a convenience store (mini stop) within a 2-minute walk, and the staff is very helpful. You can ask them for other amenities such as pyjamas, weight measurements for luggage or else that you want.

MIMARU suites in Asakusa is a wonderful place to stay in Tokyo. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and it was great having a little kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. We were traveling from Tokyo to Hakone and then to Kyoto, and had 3 pieces of luggage we needed to forward to Kyoto. The staff helped make all the arrangements, and made our traveling much easier. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Senso-ji temple along with the numerous stores and restaurants lining the streets nearby the temple. There were several convenience stores nearby, and an Ichiro ramen just down the street. The subway station is a short walk down the street, making it super easy to go anywhere in the city. We loved our stay with MIMARU in Asakusa, and would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We stayed here for 4 nights for our first visit to Tokyo, apartment was a bit small with only one toilet and overlooked the train lines coming into the nearby Asakusa station. There were 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen / living area for 4 adults which got a bit squeezy at times, however we coped ok. Location is good for Narita airport as it's on the same line from Asakusa. There's plenty of good cafes (February Cafe is great) and restaurants nearby as well as the temple which is great lit up at night. The only downside is it's a few train stops into Ginza and further away from the other major sights of Tokyo. The service from the Mimaru crew was fantastic, helpful and everyone spoke English. Tip is to pay for your luggage to be transported to the next city rather than dragging it through very busy stations, only issue is it has to be done overnight so helps to have a cabin bag to take with the next day's clothes. All up very satisfied and I stayed in 2 other Mimaru properties in Kyoto.
