Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Due to its location, this hotel is quiet at night. Amenities are the POLA series. The Japanese-style modern single room has a 140cm wide bed and bathtub, so you can relax comfortably. I stayed in a single room, but the towels and amenities were prepared for double use, which was good. Hand towels are provided, but the face towels are narrow and a little thin. The hair dryer is a Panasonic Ionity series with a large airflow. There is a restaurant in the hotel, so you won't have any trouble finding food. If you join the Sotetsu Hotel Club and download the app, parking fees are cheaper and you will receive a 500 yen cashback on your accommodation fee. The room key is used only to enter the room. The lights in the room are manual. The staff are also very friendly.

I'm just back from wonderful holiday myself in Tokyo. Hotel Sunroute Asakusa was a great value suited my pocket. My room was small but perfect for myself, it was a comfy room and you get vouchers for breakfast, two options of places I used the panda option served by a lovely woman, always busy always welcoming everythone who comes in, options of western, Japanese and Chinese I tried Western and Japanese good start for the day. both options I enjoyed. Great thing about this hotel it's 4-5 mins walk from Kappabashi st, The Meiji Temple, 2-3 minutes from Asakusa DO Quixote for those looking for souvenirs (24 hours!), and 20 mins be at Tokyo Skytree, and opposite direction 5 mins underground or 15 mins walk at Ueno/Amyeyoko Street . 2 mins from hotel is Tawaramachi Station and Ginza line. I'm hoping to go back to tokyo in 2024 or 2025 I would like to go to this hotel again, nice friendly staff, enjoyed every minute

First night in Japan, transferred here from Haneda airport, in the historic center, so to speak, of the ancient ASAKUSA district, close to the metro and the Sensoji Buddhist temple, dedicated to the compassion of Kannon. You can get around the neighborhood very well, browsing through narrow streets and lively underpasses, on foot, in a quarter of an hour. For breakfast, there is a good Starbucks around the corner. Therefore small rooms, with French beds where even small luggage can be placed, a clean modern bathroom, unfortunately sealed windows, a useful dressing gown bathrobe in honeycomb cotton. What more can I say? From the 5th floor window it felt like being in L.A.

I spent almost a week in this hotel and was very satisfied. The location is excellent as the Asakusa neighborhood is very beautiful, offering both beautiful attractions and an infinite choice of clubs. The location is also excellent as it is a stone's throw from the Tawaramachi subway station and other stations can also be reached in 5 minutes. Very friendly staff who speak good English and rooms with excellent value for money. They are equipped with every comfort and even the cheap ones are slightly larger than Japanese standards. Mine was Japanese style and offered a nice view of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Free beer is also available in the lounge at the entrance during happy hour.

The loungewear was too small so I gave up. I'm 183cm tall so I wasn't asking for too much, but it was too small so I gave up. It was after 11pm so it was late and I didn't call the front desk. There were also no accommodation terms and conditions in the room. These were my first experiences with these two. Shouldn't they have to have terms and conditions in the room? It also seems like they're skimping on the amenities for environmental reasons. I often use Sunroute hotels, but isn't this a bit harsh?

This was a favourite hotel on our visit to Japan. It is ideally situated in Asakusa. Within a very short walk are fantastic views of the Temple gate, river and the Sky-tree. The hotel was very comfortable. We were on the top floor and the room was quiet, spacious and tastefully decorated. The laundrette around the corner was easy to use. We enjoyed a meal including a delicious Wagyu steak at the attached restaurant (booking recommended). Each afternoon some beer was placed in the lobby. The staff on reception were very helpful.

It was my first time in Asakusa, and I chose this hotel because the price was more competitive than anywhere else. The facilities were very comfortable, and the location was excellent, with access to both Asakusa and Tawaramachi stations, and convenience stores nearby. I was staying with my mother, and they upgraded our room, with the added bonus of being able to see the Skytree from the window. There is no coin laundry on the premises, but there is a high-tech coin laundry 30 seconds away on foot, which was even more convenient than usual. The staff were also very kind, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

I had a great stay-over here at the start of my trip across Japan. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and well appointed, and the hotel is within walking distance of the metro and local attraction like Sensoji Temple and the Sumida riverfront. Free beer 6-9pm most nights, too! All in all, Sunroute Asakusa was a great place to get acclimated to Tokyo after a long flight from North America.

We only booked a budget twin room and were pleasantly surprised how big it was. Clean, convenient to Tawaramachi Station (a less than 3 minute walk), plenty of eating places within a 5 minute walk. After we checked out for a 2 day stay in the Nikko area, the hotel kept our suitcases until we checked in again. Definitely recommend

Absolutely Amazing one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We were told by our travel agent the room was going to be small it was absolutely massive. When we asked for extra pillows the man brought them up for us. Everyone was very professional.
