Living situation was so good. Their English is much more fluent than before, so even my Japanese is not good enough, I still can have a good communication with the crew of Graphy Nezu. Last but not least, their breakfast was so great to me!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 7 February 2017 via mobile

My father and I booked last minute via wotif with no problems. We realised it was also a hostel on arrival but it didn't matter. Helpful, chatty, English-speaking staff, lovely cafe/bar downstairs with reasonable breakfast deal. (Set menus for 1000yen). We were surprised with a free welcome drink every night. Didn't use the communal kitchen but it looked modern and...

We travelled with a group of 11 colleagues on an inspiration trip and couldn't have picked a better accommodation. The rooms were great, everyone had twin beds and the bathrooms were super clean. The communal spaces were great do us to gather and hang out. Breakfast was yummy. We even got a free drink every evening at the hotel bar....

Convenient location, friendly staff, and clean room is what I need for a tight business travel. However, I have to say the size of the room was a little disappointed. If you want to work during your stay, you need to go to the lobby lounge.

Great hostel! Clean, awesome front desk, great communal areas- the kitchen and lounge are gigantic! And restaurant with bar is a great hang out spot. Close to Ueno park and station. Quieter area, but fit our needs. Fast wifi everywhere and free laundry. Would book again!

Such a cool place in a beautiful chilled area of Tokyo. Great value, super stylish lounge and kitchen with everything yoU could need. Fab locations and really relaxing in a busy city. Have already booked to come back.

Everything was clean and perfect for a short stay in Tokyo. The best hostel I have ever had in Japan in term of prices and standards. For a good one, I normally have to pay ¥3,000 ~ ¥3,500 but it was only ¥1,800 in Graphy Nezu.

The rooms are small but very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Tokyo since it is in the Ueno district, which is a very nice Tokyo area.

I was very unlucky at the beginning, as my initial booking in a different place was cancelled due to a technical error. In a panic, I found Hotel Graphy Nezu. It was the best choice with the price. My luck turned around, as Hotel Graphy Nezu is a very lovely place, in a very lovely neighborhood. It's very close to...

Not so friendly staff, they are just polite. Not a good location for tourists as Ueno Station is far away (15-20 minutes walking) and Nezu Station is not well connected for visiting the city. Breakfast is good but there are no many choices nor buffet. They do not serve milk for a decent cafe au lait! Just those poor "milk"...

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
