Myself and husband stayed here for 2 nights so that we could go to a wedding near by. The breakfast here is amazing! The room was really clean and very pretty. Would recommend this to family and friends :-)

Sally and Jools couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They took the stress out of travelling for business and the food is worth the trip any day of the week. Really lovely food which I would have struggled to match in any top notch restaurant and I have been to a few. the setting is very rural which for...

Great location: although right off a road, it is very quite and peaceful, and the rooms are along a little courtyard. The breakfast is exceptionally good- everything is locally sourced, freshly produced, and organic- and delicious. Must admit that the rooms are not luxurious (but rather a really upscale version of a Premier Inn) and the the price was a...

So delighted to find this super place. A warm welcome from Sally & Jools after arriving late & despite the kitchen being closed we were provided with a delicious supper. Sadly we only stayed one night but are certain to return even if only to enjoy another comfortable night & superb breakfast although we hope to arrive in time for...

Very rarely do I use a B&B, however on this occasion I'm so pleased I made an exception. Arriving very late presented no problem to the hosts Jools and Sally - nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink provided well after the time when they could be expected to have closed for the night. Food delicious and drinks at...

We've just got home from staying for 2 nights as we were visiting family in the area. Beautiful, stylish and comfortable accommodation with everything anyone could want and I truly couldn't think why we would ever want to stay anywhere else in the area. Lovely touches in the room (plenty of tea, coffee and milk etc., bottled water, a torch,...

Strange experience being the only guest and customer staying in such a lovely place with such great food and lovely people. Hope the locals are ashamed of themselves, they ought to be for missing out on this! Definitely recommend it if you're in the area looking for a nice place to stay and a lovely meal!!

We stayed here for one night, Sally and Jools are perfect hosts. The individual beautifully styled rooms have been very well designed. They have thought of everything for your comfort. Cafetiere for your fresh coffee which we enjoyed in the delightful courtyard, Breakfast was wonderful with fantastic granola, you must try it.. A brilliant find and we highly recommend it.

After driving 400miles you want somewhere good to stay. I was not disappointed. There was a warm welcome, the barn converted rooms were excellent and the food was top class. The room prices are good, the food menu prices are slightly higher than what I pay in Derbyshire. But then I am happy to pay a little extra for quality...

Stayed at the Pilgrims while working at RNAS Yeovilton. Very convenient - 10 mins drive away. Hotel is quiet and rooms are fantastic. The rooms are well-equipped and the bathrooms luxurious. The restaurant is excellent. The location is very good for exploring Wells, Glastonbury and numerous interesting local towns.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Pilgrims is a 4 star Restaurant with Rooms and holds 2 AA Rosettes. It's as relaxed as a country pub but the food is better than many a city restaurant - not least because all the ingredients come from 'just over the brow of the hill.' And the rooms are simply stunning, Egyptian cotton, king size beds, roll top baths and walk-in showers. The Pilgrims - the best of Somerset on a plate. ... more   less
