A very late review, as we stayed here mid last year. Perfect spot, very close to the station. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Stayed here for a week and have exceeded our expectations. Room and the overall of the hotel was clean. The front desk and housekeeping were all friendly and accommodated all our needs and queries. Check-out was really quick which was less than a minute. This hotel is definitely one to return to. My wife can't wait to see Pepper the Robo assistant again on our next stay :) Would definitely recommend to colleagues and friends.
This was our first trip to Japan and our first Japanese hotel and we loved it. Yep the rooms are small, yep I couldn’t fit under the shower and yep I banged my head on the door frame a couple of times but it’s Japan and it suited us perfectly. The hotel is just across from the station, there are about a billion cool restaurants within walking distance and the Japanese breakfast included with the hotel was great. All the amenities you’d expect in a Japanese hotel (including a vending machine selling beer on every level) and friends we stayed with who have travelled previously in Japan thought the location and ambience were great as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This hotel has a great location, very centric. It is just steps from the JR line station. Rooms are small but the hotel is in very googd shape and everything is very nit. Breakfast is good and the restaurant in the second floor serves good food but a bit expensive.
I stayed here for a night and it’s location is superb. The station is just in front of the hotel, you only need to cross the road, and it’s JR Line. The hotel has family mart which is very very convenient. The staffs are very friendly and they will always try their best to help you. I went there before check-in time so I gave my baggages to them and went to explore Tokyo. When I got back, I expected to bring my bags to my room by myself but the staffs had get it done! My baggages were already in the room before I got back so it was so convenient. The room is small but it’s enough. They provided pjs. The bathroom has complete amenities as well. It was a pleasant stay. Would definitely come back if I happen to visit Japan again in the future.
The location is shown as near Shinagawa station, but actually it is near Gotanda station. The entrance is so simple, one can miss it if you are walking on the road, and instead enter the family mart conjoined to this. The rooms are tiny, like other hotels in Tokyo proper, but it was dusty when we entered. There are no conveniences in the room - no coffee, no water. All other amenities need to be picked up while entering the lobby. The cleaning done the next day was very basic - the sheets were unchanged, the cups&glasses were dirty and the shoes were in exact same location as in the night, only the bed was remade and the bathtub cleaned. The breakfast is very basic, and a Japanese breakfast. International travelers wont get much more than bread and omelette and coffee for the full spread. The staff is polite, but basically say "no" to all options. We tried to check out the moment we saw the room, but they wanted a 100% cancellation charge for all nights. There are much better hotels for lesser price in Tokyo central area (Ginza) than this one.…
