Not as convenient to Tokyo Station as I had hoped . We had to catch another train 4 stations away with our luggage - ended up being in the business area rather than the shopping area which was a little disappointing . The room however was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and polite .

We were on a holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary, due to a mix up we were booked into the wrong hotel. This hotel is in the middle of a business area of Tokyo and although it is close to the train station unless you can read and speak Japanese well this is not the hotel for you. This is...

The hotel is at Osaki station of the JR Yamanote line with good connection to Haneda airport. The rooms are comfortable. The bathroom is small, but well equipped. The hotel has a direct entrance to a mall with several shops, and restaurants. I can recommned Kirin City Osaki pub and restaurant by the river for a meal or a drink....

Unfortunately I was only here one night, but would definitely return. The location is fantastic, rooms small but big enough with great shower products. Staff are very friendly and helpful, booking me a table at a fab restaurant in Ginza.

The hotel is located across the street from JR Osaki station. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores within a minute or two walk from the hotel entrance, so there is no need to use the hotel's restaurant. We stayed on one of the smoking floors although we are not smokers. The room was clean and stocked the mini...

Let me start with the minus: they said that no non smoking room was available, so there it was. The room smelled like stale cigarette, and no matter how many amounts of water perfume you sprayed, it never went away. on the plus side, although the interiors were old looking, i see that the carpet is at least new and...

This hotel is almost connected to Osaki Station, which is on the Yamanote line and only one stop from Shinagawa (more about that later). It is only a two or three minute walk from the station gate to the hotel front. The majority of the walk is in the station so it is covered. In addition since my last stay...

Nice Location, however rooms are dated and breakfast is fair. Great restaurants in the complex and close to the JR line and subway. There is no bell boy so if you are coming by taxi you will arrive on the first floor. You must take an elevator to the 3rd floor to find reception. They have two sized standard rooms....

Stayed here two nights. Like a pit stop for me to stock up my Suntory whisky, available in smaller bottles. Room comfortable. Breakfast good spread of Japanese food and a mixture English or American breakfast. Transport link by train is within reach. Peaceful and safe environment cos' in the neighbourhood of housing homes.

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
