We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in April 2017. The room and the toilet are very spacious in Japan standard (We stayed in twin room). Good enough to open 2 large luggage and 1 baby stroller without problem. Located in 品川區 which is easily accessible from Haneda Airport. It has direct connection with the 天王洲 monorail station (with...

We had a late flight into Tokyo Haneda airport and wanted an hotel fairly easy to get to with a very young family (3y/o & 6m/o). Getting to the hotel was fairly easy from the airport. Direct TrainStation access to the hotel helps if it is raining (as it was when we arrived). The checkin was fast and prompt and...

We were spending the night in Tokyo, instead of enduring a 9 hour layover. Most of the budget hotels were full, so the Hotel/Tourist desk advised this hotel. We wanted a shuttle, or easy airport access. This hotel has a Monorail stop, so it's only 15 minutes to/from Haneda (340 yen). The hotel adjoins an office tower, and a small...

We stayed at the Dai-Ichi Seafort for six nights during a recent trip to Tokyo. While most rooms in Tokyo are tiny, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious or room was even with the two beds. We left our luggage at around 7:00am after arriving and checked in around 11:00pm after a day at Hiroshima. Staff were excellent, courteous...

I stayed this hotel on February 2017. I felt that my twin room was enough spacious and has nice view from the room. It may be larger than most hotels in Japan. I had 2 Breakfasts at restaurant on 1st floor, I was really satisfied with the foods served. Due to its location, it was really convinient to access Haneda...

It was a shocking experience for my wife on check in, a very rude front desk staff and the same experience on check out, with one good staff member being helpful in between. The rooms are lived up, but renovation seems to be ongoing, the only thing speaking for the hotel is the location for a short business visit, close...

Hotel has covered access from Tennozu Isle station, which is a few stops away from Haneda airport using Tokyo monorail line. Please note however that there are two tennozu isle stations: one for Tokyo monorail line and one for Rinkai line (that goes to Shinjuku area). The one that serves Rinkai line is about 400m away and you need to...

I stayed this hotel three nights this time for the first time. I am very happy with the overall quality of this hotel due: clean, good quality and relatively spacious room, direct connection to Tennozu isle stn as well as restaurants and CVS, great view of skylines, etc. But one thing that I was particularly impressed was about the hospitality...

The room was a fairly normal two twin bed room (and by the way, please, hoteliers in Japan, add a higher percentage of double/king rooms than you have now - this is not just directed at the Seafort. The room was clean, and had pretty much everything you could want, and anything you don't have is available at the very...

A very nice hotel in a convenient location very close to the Rinkai Line and a monorail that takes you to Haneda Airport in 15-20 minutes. Both connect to the Yamanote Line. If you're coming from Narita Airport, the Limousine Bus will drop you off at the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean with professional staff and a good...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
