On a recent road trip, I found myself on the Mornington Peninsula looking for a place to stay... Booking Dot Com has this listed. When I read the reviews they were a mixed bag - remaining open minded and I ONLY really needed somewhere to lay my hat after a long day, I booked.

It's very easy to locate on the main street in town... and it's surprisingly quiet for it's location. The driveway is very generous and parking was super easy. It is walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants.

The room was dated and I felt like it was in a bit of a time warp. There was a spa in the room which I was not aware of until I arrived... but the warning on the spa - "If the spa is used there will be an extra charge of $70 per night" was just odd and didn't sit well. If I had known about the spa at the time of booking I would have arranged one IF I had wanted to use it, rather than calling reception to arrange it before 7pm as per their odd note.

The walls were adorned with items that made no sense... it was almost like a trophy wall of a nearby winery. It looked like advertising, but poor advertising.

It's a bit hit and miss, but ... would I stay again... maybe. I got a good nights sleep here and there were some great features such as the ease of parking. To note, with a few upgrades, this place would most certainly be well sought after.

Great place for an overnight stay while moving house. The Heritage next door is great for a meal and a drink and the shops (bakery, cafe etc) are across the road, as well as other restaurants.

Bed was comfortable, shower was fantastic and the room was clean. Furniture a little outdated; however, everything worked.

Set back from the road, so it was pretty quiet.

We had a spa in the room; however, had to pay an extra $70 if we wanted to use it....so we didn't.

Decor was a bit of a shrine to a local winery.

With a slap of paint and some updated furniture and blinds (maybe get rid of the spa and pop another bed in) and this place would be better.

Would probably stay again and recommend it to family and friends if they could not find anything else.

I stayed in Balnarring Village Motor Inn for 1 night for a business trip. At the first look the room was very clean and nice. Old stylish and smelled fresh well too.
However after a closer look I notices a couple bull ants running on the carpet, then a few more on the walls ... then a few mosquitoes and a lot of tiny little insects at the all parts of the bedroom. In total a counted almost 10 bull ants.
Totally recommend if you not afraid or don't care of bull ants.

Lovely little place tucked away from the hurley burley. Very quiet and very comfortable. Made welcome by Frank. Room was spacious and very very clean. Furnishings old but still in good condition. Bed firm but still slept well. Would stay again if ever back in the area.

Our second visit and we will be back. We receive great service and the rooms are top quality, relaxed and totally suit our family. All the shops are directly across the road. We use this as our base for exploring the Mornington Peninsular and we hope to keep doing so.

Good motel in centre of village. Not lovely but quiet, clean and comfortable. Shower strong and toiletries provided, kitchenette with sink, daily room service. Good big wardrobe with wide shelves. Laundry room etc. (Only downside too strong room deodoriser !)

We thank you for your very kind words and have taken your opinion on board and have started to water down the air freshener so it is not so strong even though the manufacturer recommends not to water it down.

When I booked the room I was assured that Wifi was available. After arriving I tried to connect but it did not work. I took my computer to the office where it worked.I was told that because there were cars in the car park I could not get a signal in my room! In order to connect I would have to sit outside in a gazebo.( I actually tried it but it still did not work!). Very unprofessional and quite ridiculous. I noticed that when connecting the next morning after most travelers had left, the Wifi worked. Obviously there were a lot of rooms using the system the night before and it could not cope. The owners need to spend money and install a proper system and not say they have wifi when they clearly do not.
I asked for breakfast at 8.30am and was told that I must have it by 7.45am as the lady wanted to go to a tennis game!
I was woken the next morning at 6.30am by noisy neighbours chatting outside my room before going to work........

our son explained to you that you had an older type computer and that you may not get the signal all of the time , is was not our fault. We also told you about three very nice cafes within 1 mins walk to have brekkie at your desired time if you wanted to do so but you said it was ok to have it earlier and the only reason that we could not offer your desired time was that we did indeed had tickets to a corporate box at the tennis and we had to leave the motel at 8 am so we would not be here to cook any brekkies after that time , also there is not a motel owner in the world that can control the behaviour pattern of their guests , we do ask everybody to be quiet and respect both the property and fellow guests but not everyone listens.

We had to travel to our son's graduation at Cerberus and chose to stay here. The place was really tidy with plenty of room. The owner couldn't have been any nicer and it was only minutes from where we had to go. I would def recommend this place to anyone.
