Please come here. The number of choices are overwhelming, but this place is special. Little Kwara stood out amongst the other couple lodges we've stayed in. It's not as 'done up' as some other places: the rooms are a little darker though VAST, and the fixtures aren't quite as city-hotel shiny, there are no carved art structures for decoration here,...

nested in the middle of a private concession which means off road or night drives are allowed, but still living among the prolific wildlife. beautiful lodge with all inclusive package and a small pool, friendly staff, great food! the tents (bungalows) are spacious and quaint, with an outdoor shower! but a bit too dark for my liking. maybe the non...

The lodge was superb - secluded rooms with everything you could want. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were excellent. Not sure how they do all that!! The game drives were wonderful - we saw all the main species of wild life - animals and birds and loads more , we had a...

My wife and I stayed in Little Kwara for 4 nights in November 2016 and had an amazing stay. We arrived at their airstrip and were greeted by a pack of African Wild dogs wallowing in a mud pool a the end of the runway- amazing start to the visit. A few words about the camp- the tents are very...

Little Kwara is an excellent camp with very welcoming staff. The food and wine are very good and the rooms (raised tents) are definitely the top end of "Glamping". The guiding was also excellent with a fine variety of animals to be seen. Nice balance between game drives, walking safaris and boat trips.

Every element of our stay in Little Kwara exceeded our high expectations. From the location of the camp, to the fantastic rooms, the communal areas to the family style dinner where all guests and guides eat together. All this before even talking of safari! The area is beautiful and varied, from lush green marshland to savannah. The team of a...

My 18 year old daughter and I stayed at Little Kwara for several days this summer and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. The accommodations and cuisine were fabulous, but the guiding and wildlife viewing opportunities were by far the stars of the show. Our guide Tom was interesting and informative, hard working, and fun to...

Little Kwara was the end of a trip to Botswana. It was an excellent grand finale. The small size of this camp and the location make you feel in the bush, which is strengthened by the animals which roam in the camp, like a family of friendly warthogs. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed. Bathroom with bathtub (inside) and good...

'Intimate' and 'personal' are core Kwando Safaris values. The vast wilderness areas in which our camps are located are known for their remoteness and high quality wilderness experience. With the intoxicating sunsets, tranquillity and endless horizons, most people are reluctant to leave! In order for a camp to be included in the Kwando Safaris circuit, it must have the following characteristics: • Intimate and personal - no more than 18 guests per camp • Allow the sounds of nature to dominate • Be managed by experienced and talented citizens of Botswana with motivated and caring staff • Embody the unique Kwando 'Guide and Tracker experience' • Be staffed with guides with the experience and personalities to ensure that no activity is dull! • Limit each game drive vehicle to a maximum of six guests • Have structures that are semi permanent ensuring minimal impact on the environment • Demonstrate environmental best practices in daily operations including the use of renewable energy sources. ... more   less
