Spent 3 nights in Little Kwara (3 couples - Aussies) on the above nights. We arrived from Selinda Explorers, which was excellent, so it was going to be difficult for Little Kwara to match it. After we got used to the place, I think it did. There were more animals wandering freely around (in) the camp during the day -...

Little Kwara was the first of two Kwando camps in the Kwai concession of the Okavango delta. We stayed three nights. This trip was put together by UK African Travel Resource and went very smoothly. We were met at Maun airport by Wilderness rep, didn't get to ATM, waited in waiting area - and were almost the last to get...

Stayed three nights in this small camp which comprises of only five elevated 'tents'. Situated close to Kwara camp which is significantly larger. Accommodation is also smaller than at her sister camp Lagoon Camp and a little dated. Food was adequate but had better at previous camps. Good though to sit down for meals with the camp manager, Charles and...

Spent three days with two other couples (friends). Small camp limited to 10 people (5 couples). Accessible only by air (light aircraft) and situated on, or close to, permanent water (depends on season). Accommodation is 5 elevated (substantial) tents scattered around the property. Each accommodation unit has large living/bed area, large bathroom with separate bath and outside (with roof) shower...

We were charmed by Little Kwara Safari Camp, which is a more rustic, though hardly primitive, safari lodging. We loved the environment, which is truly "in the bush", and appreciated the wonderful, personalized service we got at every turn. Our tented room was very comfortable, the food was exceptionally good (hearty and plentiful with something for everyone), and I cannot...

We visited Little Kwara and Lebala as a 75th anniversary present for my husband. The camp is outstanding. Service, cleanliness, activities, staff, facilities were all 10 out of 10. Little Kwara only has 5 tents. This means you will be 4 in one vehicle and 6 in the other. If you are traveling with friends, this means you will be...

We stayed 3 nights at litte Kwara. The cabins are very comfortable, the crew is friendly and helpful. The game sightings were simply sensational including the rather aggressive elephants in this concession. Seems to be a heritage from hunting times. Overall, a great experience.

We stayed 3 nights at Little Kwara in April 2016. The camp itself is very pleasantly rustic. The cabins were large and comfortable, with great outdoor decks where elephants and baboons were constant visitors. Note that the water in the taps is occasionally discolored and cannot be used to drink or brush your teeth; this was not an issue for...

This was the third camp we stayed in on our safari holiday organised by Yellow Zebra Safaris and it was a perfect way to finish our holiday. The camp is very comfortable with only 5 tented tree houses, but all have a bath tub and an outside shower with hot and cold running water. Our guide Charles was fantastic, going...

My family just spent 3 days at Little Kwara and I highly recommend this camp if you like to be comfortable AND want to see lots of wildlife. The facilities are very nice and very comfortable and our tracker and guide were first class. We saw lots of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and of course elephants, zebra, giraffe, etc. We did...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Intimate' and 'personal' are core Kwando Safaris values. The vast wilderness areas in which our camps are located are known for their remoteness and high quality wilderness experience. With the intoxicating sunsets, tranquillity and endless horizons, most people are reluctant to leave! In order for a camp to be included in the Kwando Safaris circuit, it must have the following characteristics: • Intimate and personal - no more than 18 guests per camp • Allow the sounds of nature to dominate • Be managed by experienced and talented citizens of Botswana with motivated and caring staff • Embody the unique Kwando 'Guide and Tracker experience' • Be staffed with guides with the experience and personalities to ensure that no activity is dull! • Limit each game drive vehicle to a maximum of six guests • Have structures that are semi permanent ensuring minimal impact on the environment • Demonstrate environmental best practices in daily operations including the use of renewable energy sources. ... more   less
