We spent a week here with a group on a wildlife holiday. The location is rural, very quiet and quite a way from the nearest village so could be difficult if you don't have transport. The accommodation is in converted farm buildings and is very Spanish in style, which we loved. Standard international hotel it is not! If you like...

Went with my girlfriend in early September for a week. We had a great time and loved the place. It's an idyllic rural retreat: so pretty with all the flowers, greenery, white walls, terracotta tiles and individually decorated rooms. It's also quite magical with the wandering tortoises, relaxed cats, occasional lizard, the horses and donkey. Our ground-floor room: the bed...

We stayed here for 4 nights and the overall experience was good. Llorent welcomed us explaining about the farm (donkeys, tortoises, goats are roaming in the properties!), common facilities (nice pool, big and well equipped shared kitchen, honesty bar) and where to go in the surroundings. The house is big, has charming old style and some old cart on display,...

Lovely accommodation, 10 roomed ex farmhouse with beautiful grounds, including pool and hot tub. We had a good sized bedroom and well lit shower-room. In the main house there is a large well equipped kitchen for guests use. Adequate selection of continental breakfast, plus eggs cooked however you want them. Wi-Fi very good in the room and all other areas...

I spent a very enjoyable week at this charming farmhouse B&B. Located close to the airport just south of the village of Sant Climent, it’s reached by a long narrow track lined with pine trees. The coast at Binidali is just a few minutes drive away. My room was a double on the ground floor next to the kitchen. The...

This beautiful rural hotel, with lovely cool rooms, gorgeous gardens, pool, hot tub, outside dining area, fully equipped guest kitchen and free to gather produce in the kitchen garden; the list of attributes goes on and on, is strangely lacking in human contact. Bizarrely there is no reception desk, one has to phone the owner who lives in an apartment on...

Thanks for your comments, As you told me, you were used to come to Matchani when it was managed by Shaun and Jenny; they really enjoyed the bar with the guests, they didn't accept children and the atmosphere was different. At this moment we have a daughter 5 years old and we love children so we don't want to maintain...

The owner has refurbished the B&B with love and care! Upon arrival, We were led into a rustic world by the tree-line country lane, with lovely gardens, a swimming pool, daybeds, jacuzzi and a outdoor bar. The whole place oozed character, with its quirkiness and lived-in feel. The farm animals and tortoises roaming free in the gardens was a hit...

Nice BnB but the place has more potential than the current staff can handle. The owners are not involved in any daily operations which would bring the questions why are they running such place. Nice concept but need some improvement in taking care of the property and the rooms on daily basis. Wifi may work or not upon good blessing!...

Wow. What a place. Cannot fault it except to say our room was quite small but we were only staying for one night so this was not a problem. The gardens and pool were beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. We will go back and stay longer.

We stayed in Matchani Gran for a week in may 2013 and had a really nice time. It is a very charming place full of character, located in an old farmhouse close to the airport. This is not as bad as it sounds since Menorca airport is small and there are only flights in the morning and (early) evening. We...
