Between January and February 2017, my daughter and I spent 31 days travelling around the UK from Australia. After almost three weeks on the road hopping between different B&Bs every night, we were getting a bit over it all. Then we arrived at Woodside - what a relief! The rooms were the best we'd stayed in and Woodside is a beautiful example of a grand country manor. Everything we needed was there, comfy beds, top class linen, central heating with heated towel rails, and we both had private ensuites including all the little knick-knacks and extra things you only ever have when you're at home - they've thought of everything. As for the breakfasts - it was probably just as well we had to continue our journey before I started piling on the kilos! We continued on through Scotland for another 10 days and every night we wished we back at Woodside. To close out our holiday before heading back to Heathrow, we spent our last two nights enjoying some much needed R&R just lounging around the lovely house and peaceful gardens, and long walks in the countryside. Our hosts were simply terrific - nothing was too much trouble and we left there feeling really pampered.

Stayed in the bungalow behind Woodside B&B - excellent property with 3 bedrooms,3 showers, huge bathroom and four loos! The owners who are very friendly and helpful have thought of everything to make your holiday complete. We have been staying self catering for very many years and this is easily one of the best. Very friendly village with all you need in the way of groceries. Lots of wonderful scenery within very easy reach.

If you are in or near the Borders of Scotland, this is the place to stay, its so nice and peaceful. It is central to the village and when the Holm show is on, its just across the road. Clean and friendly people. I will be going back there

Woodside is truly a gem in the Scottish Border Region, a superb B and B located within walking distance of the river and village with shop café and pubs Our double room was very well equipped and decorated. All toiletries tea making facilities and all you could need . Spotless, fantastic full English breakfast, fresh raspberries, strawberries. Lovely host and hostess nothing too much trouble and beautiful gardens. Worth every penny. Also on sight is a self catering bungalow that is also very a well appointed. We shall return in the very near future.

Fantastic B and B in a beautiful location within walking distance of the river and village with shop café and three pubs. Never stayed in a B and B before and didn't know what to expect. We were guests at a wedding and this accommodation was booked on our behalf. We had a double room upstairs very well equipped and all newly decorated. All toiletries tea making facilities, manicure set, shoe polish the list is endless. Spotless, fantastic full English breakfast, fresh raspberries, strawberries. Lovely host and hostess nothing too much trouble and beautiful gardens. Worth every penny. Other family members also stayed in the self catering bungalow that also had newly decorated rooms. Only thing was missing was a full length mirror.
