Yet another wonderful stay at The Posthouse, cant be beaten. Paulene and Barry wonderful hosts, don't forget to look down the well. While you are staying I recommend a visit to the local Church, a wonderful building full of interest.

Beautiful B&B - close to Salisbury, Old Sarum and Stonehenge, including other attractions. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast and service was excellent and the local pub the Swan hosts a delicious dinner. Free and consistent wifi was much appreciated after having only limited access in London. Ask Pauline about the walk along the Roman road to Wilton.... More

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the local sites of Stonehenge, Avebury, Sarum and West Kennet Long Barrow, all of which are within a reasonably short drive from the guest house. The guest house is located in a quiet village but there are two pubs within walking distance (one within the village itself and one just outside) both... More

We had two weeks touring through the UK and this was our first B&B and it certainly set the stadard for the next 2 weeks! Paulene wlecomed us and showed us to our beautiful beamed room. Everything was very thoughtfully decorated, and while the bathroom was small, it was fine. The bed was very comfortable and after 5 weeks in... More

From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Paulene and shown to our light and airy room which had a real homely feel to it. Just perfect. Breakfast was a real treat and the sausages were amazing! We left feeling refreshed and well fed. Would highly recommend this b and b to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful... More

Nicely decorated B&B, overall clean room, good host, and in quiet surroundings. We stayed for 1 night in triple room, which was practical and lovely. Beautiful garden. Great breakfast. Stairs to get to the room, so be prepared with the luggage. Wardrobe's floor in bedroom could have been cleaner (as I accidentally dropped my t-shirt on its floor and found... More

We were welcomed by Pauline who showed us our quaint gorgeous room, then Barry carried our cases inside. The local pub 5 minutes walk away was great. Next morning a beautiful breakfast was made by Pauline. We asked for directions to Clovelly which Pauline presented in a jiffy after she fired up her computer. The garden so beautiful and a... More

All of the villages we have visited in our travels have been charming and inviting. Great Wishford was no exception. The village itself is full of beautiful old homes, stunning gardens and meandering streets that make a relaxing walk very enjoyable. Pauline and Barry were our hosts at The Old Post House - a charming B&B in the middle of... More

We were at home and relaxed with Pauline and Barry. Their home is beautifully and simply decorated, the atmosphere welcoming, and the breakfasts were made to order and excellent. They did their best to give us invaluable advice, such as looking up postal code to do sightseeing in nearby Bath and Salisbury. Our room was cozy and quiet. We woke... More

We spent three nights at the Old Post House and I wish we could have spent more. The room was very comfortable and decorated in a homey way. There were no street lights outside our window and we were far enough from the highway that the only road noise was locals driving through the village (and very little of that).... More
