I enjoyed my stay at this friendly family run hotel. Very clean hotel and wonderfully comfortable bed with good cotton sheets. Opaque shutters meant I could keep the sun out and sleep well at any time. Beautiful view of the sea from my room. Fantastic shower and fresh towels. Delicious fish, sea food and salads were part of the varied Menu in an elegant dining room with attentive waiters and sea view. The hotel helped me with advice on local beauty spots and how to get to them among other things. Nothing was too much trouble for the highly skilled, charming and intelligent family staffing this hotel. I highly recommend Hotel Mediterraneo.

Stayed here for 4 nights and apart from it being clean I found the hotel very poor, plug sockets not working properly, very dated décor, dark and dingy bathroom felt like I was in Benidorm not Italy. Luckily we only had a short stay but would unfortunately not recommend this hotel. I also found the location a bit far out from the main town and away from all the restaurants. we didn't hire a car so we had to ride everywhere on the bikes provided by the hotel so found this helpful to get around the town. The beach closest to the hotel wasn't very nice either, you need to go about 20 minuets down the road and there is a nice beach there. If I am completely honest I have been around quite a few parts of Italy and I didn't enjoy this area the local food / beach and accommodation was all very poor.…

This is the worst value for money hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The hotel is also nowhere near the centre of porto cesareo (around 3km away) and contrary to what the pictures would suggest the hotel is not close to a beach. The general appearance of the hotel is very dilapidated with the furnishings and fittings looking extremely dated and worn. Upon reaching the hotel you feel like you are arriving at the hotel from the inbetweeners movie. The air conditioning is also rather ineffective. The only positive point about the hotel is that you can hire bikes to reach the beach and the centre of porto cesareo. Overall for €120 a night the standard of this hotel is completely unacceptable and I would absolutely not recommend staying here under any circumstances.…
