Had a very pleasant stay at the Slaughters Country Inn, room was a good size and clean. Bed was large and comfortable, good choice for breakfast all well presented. Would definitely stay again. Lower Slaughter was a good base for visiting the cotswold.

Lovely country inn and good restaurant in an amazingly beautiful Cotswold village. Warm open fires and good proper food. Was fed up with fine dining at our hotel nearby and got one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've had. Will return again to visit with my family and hopefully stay on site. Cottages look lovely. Staff and service were... More

We recently booked a "Superior Room" for a two night break. I've stayed many years ago, and the Inn is located in an idyllic setting. Our room was well equipped and spacious however, between the hours of 19.00 and 06.30 the hotel turns on the kitchen air-conditioning system; the noisy part of which is located above the room. Not unreasonably... More

This was our second visit to the Slaughter's Inn and we have decided to try and make it an annual thing. Lovely location, rooms, food, staff... all makes for a simple, yet luxurious get-away. Our first visit was based upon a recommendation and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking to visit the Cotswolds. Rooms have particularly lovey bathrooms... More

Stayed here for one night on a trip around the Midlands, especially the beautiful Cotswold area, which is absolutely stunning. Some of the small towns have turned into tourist traps, but here in Lower (and Upper as well) Slaughters you'll find the real thing hidden away from the main roads. The Slaughters Country Inn is a great place too spend... More

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and the surroundings extremely peaceful with lovely walks around the countryside, beautiful cottages. Shame the weather wasnt quite so nice but it doesnt stop one from venturing out.

We visited the Slaughter's Inn during an overnight stay in nearby Bourton on the Water. We were after a cosy pub for dinner and this place didn't disappoint. One thing to flag - due to its popularity, the 'Inn' spills over into a larger and more open plan restaurant. Although a gorgeous room, it's not the 'table by the fire'... More

This was our first visit to the Cotswold's and felt a little disappointed with how many "No dogs allowed" places of interest we came across in such a beautiful part of the country.
