Worst hotel ever! Room dirty. Full of cockroaches!!! During the night we could hear rats on the ceiling. The staff totally unfriendly. The do not help at all. They do not care about the complaints. Horrible experience!
We were here 2 times, both booked in advance. Normally, the owner cleans te rooms when he/she knows that guest will come. But here not at all. Anywhere, inside and outside there was dusts. Dont look under the bed and behind the seats, full of dust. The owner is a frienly lady, she likes to have a nice garden. but the workers are'nt that, not nice people. There is good food for lunch of diner, the matrass is good, the shower is old and works not very well. The good thing is that the hotel is not in the city center, so it is more calm. Here is no wifi, no internet. If you go or come back from the Togian, there is a free pick-up
Kahyangan Hotel is certainly a place to consider when you are in Ampana : it's clean , the rooms are very spacious and far away from any noise . The only thing that could be better is the service : when you can find them , it's ok , then they will help you , but most of the time there is nobody there . When I asked if they had some beer in the fridge , the answer was positive , but when I looked more carefully , they only had two Bintang bottles available (there are four possible rooms for rent) , and when you wanted to drink one of them , there was nobody there to sell it to you . Same procedure when I wanted to enjoy my breakfast or dinner . So I left with a bad feeling : it has a lot of potential , it's just that they have to make use of it . When you need a wifi connection , you will have to go to another hotel closer to the centre of town , that's something to consider too .…
Kahyangan Hotel Ampana, located in the very quite section of the town, facing a black stone beach is definitely one of the best options in this area. Build with a resort concept - bungalows with one or two rooms under one roof, the hotel has a huge rooms with contemporer design and modern amenities - TV, AC, hot water and Wi-fi. It is romantic that the owner named those Bungalow with the character from Ramayana story such as Rama, Arjuna, Shinta etc. Good food, good service, friendly staff and for sure a gorgeous sunset view from their small restaurant is almost guaranteed. It just unfortunate that not much to do around; the town is the jumping stone to the more popular Togian Island.
