We stayed in a budget room. Some great things: the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, although never spotted Earnie. The garden provides a pretty setting. We had restaurant to ourselves and the view from front table whilst eating is lovely. Average things: The snorkel gear we hired was good quality but expensive at 100k/day. The food is very...

A rather basic hotel but a great place to stay because of the nice location and the great and helpfull staff. Good meals (all in). Has several boats for diving and snorkling trips. Pick-up and drop service at Manado harbour. Only the bathroom of our bungalow could use some refurbishing.

After trying to find a good, basic cheap resort to stay for 1 night with friends, we came across bunaken beach resort for IDR 250,000 a night including 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) but not including A/C. Could use A/C for extra price. It was all we needed, basic but clean and rooms were very spacious with 1 single...

You can ask the staff for some good diving and snorkeling spots and they organize some good snorkeling or diving trips! Staff is very...

The diving crew was excellent, professional, friendly and caring! we had very nice dives, with lots of turtles, napoleon's and heaps of small colourfull fish. First...

I've stayed here twice. It was in 2013 and I came back early 2014. Bunaken is a very small island and it is very laid back so you can't expect a lot from it. I recommend to do more research on the island it self before coming as it can be boring for the non adventurous travellers. It is also...
