The menu outside offered a large selection of varied large and small choices. My daughter selected a baked potato with prawns Marie Rose sauce and I decided to have the same in a sandwich. The potato was cooked in a microwave and had a thin unappetising skin. The prawns were cheap, frozen and resultantly rubbery. The sandwich was made of... More

We stayed for two nights 4 people with a dog. The price was per room on the internet and was around standard for this type of accommodation. We arrived and the barmen checked us in and without any input from me told me that prices were quoted for single occupancy which I found strange when you are booking a room... More

Don’t do what we did. Plan to try out all of the pub food in Reeth over the course of a week and then start with the Kings Arms. You may not eat anywhere else! Great, friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Superb, well cooked and presented food. Not over fluffy. Real food. Interestingly they serve a homemade selection of curries and... More

This is a great village pub that's really welcoming; it's particularly dog friendly with the landlady spoiling doggies terribly🐶😊the food is excellent - recommend steak night on a Thursday - 2 luscious steaks and a bottle of vino for £25 - a bargain 👍 We are locals and really recommend the 'middle house' ( Kings Arms) 🍷

Wow! What a welcome! I said to the barmaid that we had a 3 night booking. She immediately asked if we needed help with our luggage. Do I look that old? lol. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble. The toilets had everything you could wish for, deodorants, wipes etc. The bedroom was warm, clean and tidy with tea... More

We visited the Kings Arms for our last meal of the half term holiday in the dales, the food was served in an excellent atmosphere and they had a good selection of deserts to finish. And the dog loved the attention
