I booked a two night stay at Arkleside as it is dog-friendly and centrally positioned in Reeth. We were warmly welcomed by Terry and Hannah and were shown a couple of rooms. We decided on the room nearest the front door as an early morning walk for Jack, the dog, before breakfast is always on the cards. The room was...

Hannah and Terry put our family of four up in the Mews annex, a three room mini complex of bedroom, sitting room (with two beds) and bathroom. We had a parking space directly outside the mews and, having phoned in advance, simply put our bags into the room, made ourselves some tea, then headed directly off to a friend's wedding....

Being in the centre of Reeth it made for easy access to restaurants and pubs for meals and travelling around the surrounding areas provided some spectacular scenery and very interesting roads. Terry and Hannah are great hosts and...

We had a lovely couple of days staying at the guest house. Consistent with others' comments, breakfasts were great and views down the valley spectacular. Accommodation was plain but clean and comfortable. Very much enjoyed meeting with the owners, Terry and Hannah, they are clearly working hard to make this a success. Good luck to them both. I would certainly...
