We have stayed at La Ferme de la Borde as our stop-over point coming back from the Dordogne, twice each year, for the last two years. We always receive a wonderful welcome from Dominique and Mirielle. The room is cosy, and tastefully furnished, and always clean and fresh, with lovely decor. The evening meal is always delicious, with wonderful home-cooked food,... More

I have stayed at this wonderful place many times, over the years, both with friends and family and alone. It has become the real start to our holiday. The welcome is always warm, and we are made to feel totally at home. Dining with so many different people is always an experience and there is usually someone who can communicate... More

Having stayed overnight in many establishments we now always return here when travelling through France. A working farm in a very plesant area - it has become an enjoyable part of the holiday. Accommodation, food and welcome all excellent!

I usually stay in the annex as my mother was disabled. As usual the welcome was warm, and especially compassionate (Mereille knew my mum had recently died) Dinner with... More

Our second visit to Mirelle at La Ferme de la Borde and still as nice. We had a different room this time which was equally as beautiful as the first with another very spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

Beautiful room and huge bathroom. Very comfortable and clean with lovely views of the garden. Free wifi. Nice breakfast with other guests around the big table in lovely sun room with breads, home made jams and yoghurt along with tea, coffee or chocolate. Slightly off the beaten track but worth it.

I arrived tired after a long drive at this very friendly lovely B&B late at night, after dark, without reservation desperate to find a warm, safe bed for the night. Unfortunately all their letting rooms were full, but even though the owners, Mireille & Dominique, were in the middle of serving dinner to their other guests, I was made to... More
