Very friendly and welcoming staff. The accommodation was a good sized space with a large bed with beautifully presented bedding and towels. Each unit has an inside toilet and sink. An outside shower is attached but beware of baboons- they broke our shower head which once reported was fixed promptly! The water did go off one morning so we weren't...

tent was fair size with private bath and outdoor (but private) shower. bed and pillows were better than any of our 9 days in south Africa. The folks there could not have been more accommodating. Food was great, wine was ok, but the animals were amazing. Baboons, monkeys, wart hogs, impalas, and elephants in camp. When I say in camp,...

Kwara needs a makeover but i am not mistaken this will happen soon. The tents are a little old and have a fair amount of wear and tear. This does not make it shabby but given the amount you pay you expect a bit more. Guides and wildlife however are second to none and really one of the best in...

We arrived at Kwara having been met at the airstrip by our guide (George) and tracker (KLB). From that point on they were welded to us for all of our time in camp and on game drives. Their knowledge and professionalism was incredible. Camp management and staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was outstanding and we...

So the accommodation is good, but the game viewing was amazing. The staff are fabulous and the food was brilliant. This was the best camp for game viewing during our 3 camp visit to Botswana. If you go to Botswana, go here. The in camp animal visits were a real bonus, baboons, warthogs, impala and a male elephant.

We recently spent three nights at Kwara after having stayed at Kwando's Tau Pan (see review). The days' schedules are similar to Tau Pan (early wake-up-call, breakfast, activity, brunch, break until 4pm, high tea, activity, dinner, open end sitting around the campfire). Our game drives were very succesful thanks to our very competent guide/tracker-team TJ and AT who showed us...

We chose to stay at Kwara based on other reviews. We hoped that by staying there we would increase our chances of seeing a variety of wildlife and we certainly did. The camp was exactly as we expected from our research and yet the experience in total was more than expected. initially we were a bit put off by the...

The four star rating was only because the camp is rather tired but I understand it is to be rebuilt. Good food, great staff team. We love the singing and hated the early start but what can you do! We enjoyed meeting the other travellers and had some great drives. Well done to all.

Jessica the camp manager, and my tour guide George, were incredibly friendly and helped make my stay at Kwara very comfortable. Everything in my tent was fine, but one of my neighboring travelers did have an issue with hot water. Keep in mind this is an older camp, but the amenities are enough for a comfortable stay and the range...

Kwara was the most rustic of the 3 camps we visited in Botswana but provided the biggest range in game. We stayed 2 nights and went on 5 game drives. It was quite an adventure and the guides are amazing. With all the rain the region has had recently, animals can be more difficult to find since food and water...
