I would have rated this camp a 4 had someone not stolen approx. US$500 from our tent safe. Unfortunately we only discovered the theft 2 days after leaving Kwara and Botswana. Despite repeated approaches to our travel agent (ATR) and the camp nothing came of it after more than 2 months of correspondence. This is the only place I have...

We loved our experience at Kwara Camp. It gave us a true "out in the bush" experience. The wildlife wasn't as plentiful as Serengeti, but the guides knew where to find them, and it wasn't anywhere near as crowded. We enjoyed the alternate boat rides as well. The pace was comfortable - with a morning drive followed by a break...

Kwara camp is a tented camp in the northern part of the Okawango delta. There is a lagoon right in front of Kwara, which makes for a lovely view from the tented cabins and common areas. It also attracts small groups of impalas, baboons, hippos and wart hogs during the day and the occasional hyena or elephant in the evening....

Having just stayed for 5 days at Kwara camp in the magical Okavango delta, it was indeed a stellar experience. First of all the delta is a true highlight of any African safari and Kwando safaris, Kwara camp is a superb way to experience it all. The camp is comfortable and set in a lovely position in the delta with...

We arrived in Kwara Camp by air. We were greeted and made welcome and then wisked away to see mating lions. The drivers and trackers were wonderful in explaining about the animals, their habitats, foods, pecking order and behaviors. We saw all the Big 5 except the highly guarded Rhinos. The birds were also amazing, including the Pell's owl. Food...

Kwara was the first of our three camps in Botswana. We visited Kwara four nights, 31 May–4 June 2016. Our room was always clean, the staff friendly, food excellent. Our tented room had a king size bed, nice bedding with warm duvets & extra blankets if needed. The outdoor shower had privacy & hot water. Toiletries were all supplied (liquid...

We spent 4 nights here, after 10 days in Namibia. The flight on the small aircraft was great, with fantastic views of the delta. The camp itself is in a lovely location and the rooms are clean and spacious. The safari drives last a long time, 3-4 hours each. It was a bit irritating that the guide and tracker spoke...

This was the 5th of our 9 lodge safari tour of July 2016! This was the 2nd stop in Botswana. We came from Kwara's sister camp, Lebala and this Lebala/Kwara combo is perfect! Kwando safaris do a great job with their camps and the locations are perfect. Once you leave the camp, you will encounter lost of animals. Hyenas, elephants,...
