Did the awesome 12km ruta del cares with wife and kids after surfing all morning. Totally unprepared and staggered into Cains at dusk not knowing if there was going to be more than a locked goat shed to greet us. There are a few places but chose this on feel and we have just had the best feed we have... More

This is our first complaint ever from our trips, because normally we don´t bother too much with some kind of disrespect. In this case we were treated in a very disrespectful, aggressive and rude manner by the big man running the business. Also, the food that we ate was awful and expensive. We do not recommend this place to anyone.

The accommodations were clean and affordable. The staff was friendly and helpful. After the amazingly beautiful hike along Cares Gorge from Poncebos, we thoroughly enjoyed this place. The roasted cabrito was the best we had in all of Spain!

Not great...average...not pricey. It was as expected...good facilities. Nice dinner, good portions and they ask you if you want some more. Breakfast a bit limited. The timing for the meals a bit late as well. Service is average, however familiar. It is a good place if you just need a simple accomodation, nothing fancy.

No sheets ! No towels ! Foul wine in the bar downstairs ! No ventilation in our room as the window was blocked shut. There are much nicer places to stay in Cain although they are not on the internet. One of the nicest locations on earth, but this albergue needs new management ! ! !
