Cabin 29 is a 6 person Golden Oak Cabin with a hot tub, and 37 is a 4 person Cabin of the same type and facilities. Silence is golden... When we went, (at the end of May 2017) it was a bank holiday, and really quiet. We arrived early, and had a good look around the site, we had paid...

A really lovely weekend away. Hot tub in almost constant use, bubbles reflected in the prosecco. Tree house cabin was spotless and very well appointed. Catered for ourselves and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Rooms were comfortable and spacious with emergency toiletries though being a girly weekend we had plenty of those. The staff we came across were...

We paid £800 ( plus £25 to be near the rest of same booking ). Cabins nice, not sure clean but not bad. Silver lodge but no cleaning products. Round woodland lodges nettles and brambles and just nettles and brambles which is a real shame and not at all like the rest of the Forest of Dean. Meadows lodges not...

Lovely place in a lovely setting. Staff all very helpful especially Ellie who helped us source a local vet when our dog became very poorly. As other people have stated the shop is slightly over priced. (Over 7 quid for a loaf of bread and 3 croissants and a pain a chocolate) We had a silver birch woodland lodge which...

We booked this holiday for 4 nights so we could have a break with our dog. The resort was great, our dog was allowed everywhere with us, including the shop and inside restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough for us, always on hand and very cheerful. The food was great and the room service was a brilliant touch. The walks...

My wife and I plus two friends, and our dogs, stayed for a 3 night weekend in May. It delivers excellence, and delivers everything it says on the tin ' luxury cabins in beautiful surroundings'. Located in the heart of the Forest of Dean, superb base for woodland walks, mountain bikes, canoeing and outdoor activities. Peaceful surroundings, attentive staff and...

Since we were last here the campsite ground has been redeveloped with brand new log cabins, new access roads and facilities. This now gives a choice of being in the forest or in the meadow. This is a vast improvement to the site and bodes well for the future. Our log cabin was in excellent condition, the grounds well kept...

We stayed for 4 nights here last week. The customer service has been outstanding from beginning to end. We had an unfortunate issue with our car on the travel there and were considerably delayed and they could not have been more helpful! When we arrived the welcome pack was great and the cabin was beautiful, clean throughout with a complimentary...

I have just returned from a three nite stay in the forest of dean. It was a party of ladies ageing from 30-50. The tree house cabin we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the location was bliss and tranquil. The exact reason for our trip was to have a peaceful and relaxing stay due to certain members of the...
