Stayed for one night in this beautiful location. The meal was faultless and of superb quality and flavour with excellent service, attentive but discreet. Other establishments could learn from here. It is expensive but the food is truly memorable. Excellent wines too.

The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we finally managed to get a table after a number of attempts. I can understand why!! Food was great and the staff attentive and happy to make recommendations of what to have. We had 3 courses and enjoyed it all, .. even the taster desserts, ... only had 3! We'll...

Lovely little hotel with a wonderful restaurant. We stayed for one night in order to enjoy a walk around the village and a meal in the hotel. If your not a fish fan be warned this menu is predominantly fish with two or three alternatives. I'm no fish lover but the starter I had of salmon cheesecake may have converted...

we went for a romantic meal, from the first moment we stepped into this lovely hotel restaurant, we were well looked after. The open kitchen was excellent, the bar area small but cosy. we were shown upstairs to our table, the room had a sophisticated feel, and comfortable. there was attention to detail from the folding of the napkins to...

The menu is short specializing on fish with one meat and one veggy. Professionaly cooked, nicely presented. The bedrooms whilst small are cosy and of high quality. The wines are entirely Australian/New Zealand. We had a great stay.

Had an evening meal here with friends whilst we were visiting the area. The pre dinner drinks bar was nice, and as we were there early, wasn't too busy. Got very snug as the evening went on. The "amuse-bouche" pre starter was a nice touch and quite tasty. We each had different starters, all of which were well presented and...

A inn like small boutique hotel I had a top room with essential comforts, no frills but tastefully designed. The 2 gentle hosts of this small hotel have a surprising but fabulous antipodean wine list with intriguing tasting notes, fairly priced and classy professionally prepared food, delivered with polite love. Slept like a baby and had a very nice breakfast....

Booked a room and table for dinner midweek for an anniversary getaway. I believe a table is automatically reserved for overnight guests. Estbek house is "a restaurant with rooms" arranged over a few floors. The bar and kitchen is on the first floor as you enter. The main dining space is on the floor above and the guest rooms above...

Great hotel, fab food, lovely owners and chefs and a great location. We were warmly welcomed and showed to our room which was lovely, and had lovely views over the sea. We had a meal booked for the night which was superb, if you love fish you will be spoilt rotten, there was a lovely vibe to the restaurant and...

Stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the full Cleveland Way. Room was lovely and bed was one of best have ever slept in. My wife joined me for dinner at the Estbek restaurant that evening, and our dinner was lovely. Have marked it down a star for 2 reasons; 1) Restaurant needs a bit more atmosphere 2) I went...
