The Wilson Hotel is in a great location in Kaiping. It's in the center of town with a mall, a cinema and supermarket in the same complex as the hotel. There are numerous small shops, restaurants and coffee houses around the hotel. The two major bus terminals are both within 10 minutes taxi ride away. The rooms are nice and...

We stayed at the Wilson Hotel for three nights and had a great time. The price was cheap, (roughly $30 a night Canadian). The bed was stiff as cardboard (which I later found out is standard in China - so no complaints there), the location was very convenient to the busy street markets and night life of Kaiping. The customer...

I stayed at the Wilson Hotel for a week in July. It was very hot outside (38 degrees most days) but the air condition coped admirably without being too intrusive. The decor is a bit old fashioned and tired, but the rooms are big and comfortable with free wifi. The bathrooms have western style toilets (not squat ones, thank goodness)...

My wife and I stayed at Wilson Hotel, in Kaiping, China. It was centrally located for us. The price at $47 USD was great, along with a daily breakfast which was adequate for Asian taste. Room furnishing was outdated, but comfortable with a large king bed and an old tv screen. Visitors may access to restaurants and a shopping mall...

HI......Greetings from the Wilson Hotel in Kaiping!!! . We LOVED it here. I got second thoughts when I read some "bad" reviews about this hotel from other guests. I don't know WHY on "TRIP ADVISOR" and other hotel websites guests writes in unfavorable reviews. People gave this hotel some negative reviews about it being very plain, good for just an...

The Wilson Hotel is a good no-frills option for visitors to Kaiping (or Hoy Ping as we say in Cantonese) who are looking to stay in the heart of the city close to various amenities such as restaurants, stores, and to the Yi Ci Bus Station. I stayed two nights in a standard room with a queen bed that came...

The hotel is good, but pretty hard to find if you're driving and not familiar with the area. Buffet was ok. Not many choices. The waitress are not so friendly. Appearently, they like to watch the TV more than serving customers. However, compare to the previous hotel that I stayed at, the one is really good.

Wilson Hotel is in a great location, surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants, and connected to a huge mall that houses a movie theater, club, supermarket and even a KFC. Because the hotel is actually connected to the mall, sometimes you'll see clubgoers (and escorts?) using the same elevator as the hotel guests. This might be a cause of...
