Excellent Staff. Very welcoming, very warm, smiling. Gave us a cold drink as soon as we arrived and asked us to sit while they took care of check-in, a detail that is always welcome and belongs mostly in upper-end hotels, meaning that they put extra care and focus on the guest in everything they do. Excellent environment. Romantic, relaxing, trendy....

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last week and thought it was absolutely brilliant! Food - great choice, very tasty and very cheap! Room - spacious and fairly modern with air conditioning which was a relief especially after a long day in the jungle! Staff - all very friendly, polite and helpful Recommend - the night walk was impressive if...

After the chaos of Kuala Lumper this resort provided exactly what we were looking for in terms of activity and wildlife experiences within rainforest surrounds. Our chalet was spacious enough for two with a large comfy bed, air-con (essential!), deck area with hammock and picturesque view overlooking the river and rainforest beyond. Efficient air port transfers all booked by resort...

We were not sure what to expect but have loved every minute. Great staff, fantastic food, superb location and all mod cons here. Right next door to the three essential visits in this area. Really recommend you stay here.

Of the 4 lodges/resorts we stayed at whilst in Sabah, this one surprised us the most. Despite being only 2 star, the rooms were spotless, charming, the setting and grounds beautiful, food was amazing (and cheaper than a Big Mac meal!!!) and the staff were really helpful, efficient and friendly. We were very disappointed with our last resort-Bunga Raya, a...

We loved this place! From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. We’d taken the early flight from KK to Sandakan so actually arrived at the hotel at 8.30am in the morning. Obviously couldn’t check in but the staff were really helpful, they held our suitcases for us whilst we went out for the day, and booked us...

Rooms are very simple but comfortable, all in individual cabins. Good location as within 5 minute walk of Orangutan and Sun bear sanctuaries. Staff very helpful and obliging. Good variety of food from Pizzas to more regional dishes.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst going the surrounding sanctuaries. Very comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water (flick the switch 5-10 mins before you want it), tv,fan and a.c. Being surrounded by forest vegetation and plenty of water I was concerned about mosquitoes, as I seem to attract them, and did think a plug in repellent might have been provided...

We arrived late after 2 flights. Check in was swift, some debate about restaurant closing time - it is earlier than stated on their website and roadside advertising. So we just dumped out bags and went straight to the restaurant. Ordered 2 beers and 2 pizzas, had to ask for the beers as I can only assume they forgot that...

Staying here the total impression gained, is that.....this hotel is Not Managed by Hospitality Professionals - why? There are too many staff who 'slouch' around with little if any customer service orientation, the Night lighting is too bright, is cold white and designed to save electricity not compliment the loverly lake environment, the pillows are cheap hard rubber like, and...
