This a very well presented hotel. The villas are very clean and well maintained. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful. Very well situated for the SORC, The sun bear sanctuary, Rainforest Discovery Centre and Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. The menu could have a larger selection and could add more Malaysian food.

This place is ideal for location - next door to Orangutan and Sun bears and near most others. The location is beautiful. The rooms spacious and comfortable (it's not 5 star but it doesn't pretend to be). The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Prices are decent too. I would recommend this place to anyone,...

We spend 2 nights with our 13 and 10 years old, the rooms are comfortable, clean and modern, beautiful surroundings. But when it comes to breakfast it is a real let down, freashly squish juices not included neither barista coffee, only filter and English breakfast tea (all caffeine, not choice for decaf) breakfast is the unhealthy choice, soggy croasant, soggy...

We spent only one night with our 2 kids age 7. Superb setting: impressive colonial dark wood constructions into lush nature. Restaurant area overlooking the pawn is amazing. Western food was enjoyed after our jungle trip. We had a family chalet (nber 24 if I recall), huge, but lacking the charms of the other chalets around the pawn: we were...

A lifelong dream of mine has been to meet orang-utans in their natural environment, and where better than Sepilok to make that dream come true. Travelling from KL we flew straight to Sandakan for a one night stay, mainly due to its proximity to the orang-utans but also because it offers a taste of "jungle life". That said, it's not...

I spent 2 nights at the Sepilok Nature Resort with my boyfriend and we could not have enjoyed our time there more. It is in a perfect location for everything you need at Sepilok- orangutans and sun bear sanctuaries are only a 5 minute walk away. The location and layout of the resort is stunning and looks out over a...

Great place. Very nice rooms, comfortable and clean. The shower would need more pressure, but hey... in Asia this is normal. Location is great, close to the arangutang santuary. The food is exelent. Staff is helpful.

Had been visited this place twice. The staff are amazing even though there are no service charge! A beautiful place to hang out with a good service! A very good beverage that had been recommended by a polite waitress, Tropical paradise was totally worth every pennies! 5 stars 😎 will always visit this place whenever I'm in Sandakan 😌

We didn't stay here, but wish we had, we had a wonderful drink on comfortable sofas looking at the beautiful lake, after visiting the orangutangs, it's a very short walk from here to the sanctuary. The setting, atmosphere and friendly staff were all so lovely that we ended up,staying for dinner, which was no where near as expensive as it...
