Stepping into the Nature Resort is a fantastic experience, welcoming staff a lovely atmosphere and we felt we had stepped into the jungle, the sounds were amazing. We stayed in a chalet overlooking the lake, with a balcony. Waking up in the morning was special ,still but with a busy noise of waking up wildlife. The breakfast is served on...

We were staying down the road at a BnB and stopped in here for dinner one evening. The dinning area is beautiful and very inviting. It overlooks the water and the decor helps to enhance the experience. We were a walk-in party of four and received excellent service from the staff. We all agreed that the quality of the food...

We stayed two nights with a small group of bird and wildlife enthusiasts. Our lakeside chalet was in a beautiful setting made more enjoyable by spotting birds like hornbills and sunbirds, and hearing the sounds of the natural world. The common areas are equally pleasant. While there were a few glitches in our food orders at the restaurant, the quality...

So nice here, very peaceful and luxurious especially after being in busy and bustling sandakan! Only advice, when visiting the orangutan rehab centre, beware the trail walk! Almost got maimed by a fiery pack of short tail monkeys, who are one of the more aggressive species! Having said that though the resort was the ideal location to wind down after...

Beautiful chalets set around a lake with a jungle atmosphere. THE PERFECT spot if you are going to the Sun Bear or Orangutan Rehab Center. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. We had to leave before breakfast was served, and rather than giving us a box breakfast, they opened the restaurant an hour earlier and served us a hot meal....

We booked two nights here mainly to visit the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre which is right next door. We love it and have just extended our stay for another night. Our chalet is beautiful, set by the lake with a hammock to relax and take in the tropical scenery. Air conditioned and spacious, I can't fault it. Our chalet backs onto...

We did not have the pleasure of staying at the hotel but we wish we had. The location is fantastic and the hotel is beautiful. It overlooks a lake and is very well looked after. The staff are fantastic and the food was perfect. It is more expensive than others in the area but still cheap and worth it.
