Beautiful place! Loved the passion of the staff and the eco philosophy of the outfit. Great bar and food and lovely big, clean rooms set in beautiful grounds. Very inspiring. HIghly recommend for all types of visitors whether backpackers, couples or families with kids. We didn't get to do the volcano hike because the reception had made a double-booking mistake...

We started off our vacation in Costa Rica at Rancho Margot and couldn't have asked for a better start! We woke to howler monkeys in the distance, we ate fresh from the farm foods, hiked to a beautiful viewpoint of Arenal, slept with the windows open to clean fresh air. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We would definitely...

We travelled to Rancho Margot with 3 teenage girls and stayed in 2 wonderful bungalows with lovely views. This resort exceeded our expectations by far. Staff were professional, gracious, and efficient. Meals were provided as generous buffet. The girls appreciated the daily pizza. Breakfasts were the best of our vacation -particularly the farm-produced yogurt with fruit and granola. Juan, the...

We had an amazing time at Rancho Margot. It is a beautiful tranquil Shangri La hidden near La Fortuna. Farm to table fresh foods, sounds of birds and the river nearby. Get a massage under the trees, do yoga by the river and take an amazing tour given by passionate local young people. If you are lucky you may have...

Rancho Margot was beautiful - an absolutely stunning property, in a valley surrounded by jungle. It was very close to the Arenal national park and tons of activities in that area. The food was great and the staff was even better. They customized a horseback ride for us and were very helpful with all of our questions about the area...

Loved everything about Rancho Margot, from the friendly staff to the amazing food - vegetarian-friendly buffets made with veggies and fruits from their organic garden - lots of salads to choose from, pizza, veggie stews, chickpeas, quiche etc - so wholesome, tasty and healthy!
