Family from Europe stayed at Glenferrie Lodge last year, so I booked in for the weekend, for a family wedding. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable - most comfortable hotel bed, I've experienced in some time. The good quality prints of local sites etc. were a great feature. Breakfast was excellent. Location to the ferry and...

We have just replaced all the beds in the hotel with high quality Sealy Mattress's. I am sorry that you found your room to be a bit noisy. It is one of...

We stayed here in September 2014. It was myself and my two kids - aged 12 and 7. I was drawn to the fact the accommodation had the option of a triple room. I was also drawn to the fact it included breakfast and all for 120 p/n - for the three of us. When we arrived - we found...

This was my second stay at Glenferrie. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. I love the back garden. Many cosmetic improvements since my last stay including the breakfast room. Very nicely done. BEST breakfast... most Sydney hotels would charge $30 for it. Easy walk to the ferry. Train is only about 15 min walk. We are planning on making this...

Dear Bisbeemum, Thank you very much for your lovely review. I agree that many hotels would charge a lot for our breakfast but when you book direct it's always included. I've shown your comments to our breakfast staff who are very proud of their work and appreciate your comments. Thanks again and we look forward to your return visit next...

Paid a higher price than we usually would when travelling and were not disappointed. The location on Sydney's north shore was perfect, very close ferry ride to town but far enough away to feel free of the hustle and bustle. The gorgeous building added to this feel. The room was cosy and clean and the bathrooms were well kept. Room...

Very nice. Such a wonderful part of Sydney and the ferry ride is magical. Sai and the staff are just so friendly. The free hot breakfast is delicious. Probably the safest part of Sydney! The only downside is sound proofing and noise within the lodge - avoid rooms on the lower ground floor at all costs or ensure you have...

Dear Happy Wanderer, Thank you for your lovely review. Yes Kirribilli is one of the safest and nicest parts of Sydney. (it's actually where the Prime Minister and Governor General Live - they are 2 doors down). I am sorry to hear your comments about the noise. While I'd like to be able to carpet the outside stairs they are...

Go by ferry, that's the easiest. Just wonderful for the friendly staff, great included breakfast and cleanliness. I paid four times the amount at Darling Harbour last week, for no included breakfast; a view over the garbage bins, a dirty bathroom and very unfriendly staff. I will stay at Glenferrie from now on.
