A very interesting house with a lovely film about how the army relaxed there during the Great War (World War 1). Beautiful gardens and a tea room too. Well worth climbing the very steep stairs up to the chapel.

A great visit to this house designed for resting troops. Audio visual guide is great. The concert hall show is a bit corny. However the chapel at top of house is great. Maps at the bottom demonstrate the front line.
