Having stayed here last October and finding The Buck under the new and welcome ownership of Karen and her son Steve, I brought my brother up here for a two night stay as a birthday treat. As before, the hospitality shown by Karen and her staff was superb with nothing being too much trouble and extra effort made by all...

A welcome sight after a cold wet walk in early spring. Muddy boots welcome in the hikers bar and a warm welcome from staff. Menu looked good and the burger was homemade and chunky - very tasty. I highly recommend stopping here for a well deserved meal and pint after a walk.

After a day walking around Malham we came here for a drink and sat by the lovely warm fire! The pub felt very welcoming, mixture of all ages, lots of dogs, staff friendly, helpful and explained where things were in the area. Only drank, never ate here but only as we were booked for evening meal elsewhere

Excellent service from all staff. Family Room was really clean and spacious. charming pub atmosphere with homemade food and very reasonable priced evening meal. The breakfast was lovely - and the real fires were a big plus after a days walking.
