My wife and I stayed for one night midweek (in room 1)whilst walking in the area. The pub would be closed when we were due to arrive, but they contacted us with arrangements to get in. The room was very spacious and the online photos did not really do it justice. Comfortable and very clean. Very nice location in a... More

Like last time, my family and I took all three rooms and used it as a base to do some of the fantastic walks in the area (refer to my previous review regarding the brilliant book of walks sold by the pub). Again, the... More

Our room (3) was generous, including a sofa tucked into the alcove and although we faced the main road through the village, it was quiet traffic was not an issue. Room 3 is above... More

Had 3 wonderful nights at this great B&B/pub/restaurant. Our room (Rm 3) was spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish and had everything we could want. We are vegan, and our hosts made sure we were well catered for - a treat. The pub is lively and the restaurant offers a great choice. We came for a relaxing break in the Peak... More
