Such an amazing hotel! On arrival Ellen checked us in I think she was the manager. She’s so friendly and she recommended places to go for tea! Usually when we go to hotel the reception staff and rude and don’t want to talk to you . Ellen really made such a good start to our mini holiday. The room was so clean and smelt amazing we have such a lovely view. All the cleaning staff were kind and friendly. We had an issue trying to connect to the Wi-Fi we went down to the desk and she fixed it for us straight away. When we were checking out Ellen orderd us a taxi and had a chat with us about what we do upto. I hope that travelodge recognise her amazing her Custer service is ! The staff in this hotel really go the extra mile. We will be definitely coming back!

Better other places for the same money. Ensure that the hot water works right before to jump in to the shower Better not be lactose intolerant, the breakfast box is not value for money. Just go to a supermarket and sort it out yourself.

Excellent location, near to cafés, promenade and a huge Morrison’s. Parking close by and free. Breakfast as described, basic but edible though I would use local cafes in future if I stayed more than one night. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and bed very comfortable.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. I came for a night with my 7 year old boy. Was welcomed with a friendly face at reception, the room was really clean and the hotel is situated in a fantastic position, next to all amenities. Would highly recommend, and will certainly be staying again.

Toilet had faeces from previous guest around toilet bowl. Put in twin room beds are tiny and uncomfortable pillows were not comfortable at all. Reception staff uninterested until complaint was raised. Problem was resolved but shouldn’t have been in the first place. Good access to restaurants, sea front and supermarket and free parking was a bonus
