Having tried many hotels in Liverpool I choose this hotel as my favourite. Easy parking, but be on the lookout as the Hotel is slightly set back. It's directly up from the Ferry Terminal, across the Mersey. Always a warm welcome with spacious, calmly decor and luxurious bedding I always sleep soundly here. Free high speed wi-fi makes my admin...

Unbelievable host, in the wrong hands this place could go downhill fast but David, whilst perhaps not looking the part, is 100% committed to the hotel and its guests. If I owned Claridges I would gladly appoint him General Manager! Despite seemingly on his own most of the time I was there he multi tasked brilliantly, giving 110% to every...

You can cross the Mersey on the ferry but we thought this was very expensive. As there were 4 of us we used the local taxi service, about £14-15 per journey, split...
