Don't waste money on a "so say 5 star hotel" when you can stay in this beautiful cottage and receive personal service from wonderful owners. We enjoyed staying in a family run B&B where nothing was to much trouble. The addition of an old village pub plus the local history capped off a wonderful weekend.. PS you must try the...

This place is Bed and Breakfast par excellance Britain. Stayed here with myself and two kids. The first thing I noted was that the owners took notice of our arrival by ringing us on the day of our arrival when we hadn't arrived yet due to terrible traffic on the M6. You wouldn't get that attention from a hotel! The...

We stayed here on our first stop over while completing the Trans Pennine Trail last summer, (sorry for delay in posting review). This was such an excellent start to our trip. We arrived, feeling pretty exhausted from our days cycling and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were given a nice cup of tea to...

We'd been looking around for somewhere to stay in the South Liverpool area so that we could attend a family christening. All the hotels around the airport are OK, but quite expensive in comparison to this traditional B&B, which is just lovely. Our room was at the top of the house with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Our...

We stayed overnight at this lovely b&b whilst visiting family nearby. Catherine, Maureen & Richard were all extremely friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. We travelled with our 11 month old daughter and they were more than happy for us to use their fridge for her food etc. The room was decorated in keeping with the...

This B&B was lovely. A beautiful farmhouse in the picturesque village of Hale very close to Liverpool airport. Kat was an amazing host, very welcoming, I stayed as work was close by and will definitely be back again. Only a few miles from the airport but very quiet and rates are very reasonable. Had a single room with a big...

Such a lovely place to stay and worth to stay in this lovely village instead of a city hotel. Don't be put off by location close to Airport, inside the old original house is peacefully quite. There is a pub opposite which also serves local food or local bistro. We had a dog and when we went to dinner the...

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room I had for two nights was warm, clean and comfortable with an en-suite shower room. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The cat was friendly & playful but I think he wanted my breakfast.
