A weekend present away break. Arrived here thinking that we were stopping in the Mill itself, not out of the back of the building in converted rooms. Sign at gate displays 4 stars but should only be a 1. We agree with most of the comments on this site, we looked in detail on our return, pity that we did...

Stayed in the granary "suite" which is advertised at £195 a night . ( we paid 140 because the hot tub lid was broken but we could still use it) We were shown to our room which initially looked nice enough. The water left for us was old and used with only a little left. The radiator was on when...

Stayed for one night here. Friendly welcome with lots of local information. Clean room- shower a little small as was the wash basin. But overall nice. Not our cup of tea but there was a hot tub in front of the mill with guests enjoying it. Nice breakfast in the kitchen.

Stayed here for two nights. Owner Andy was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Recommended some nice things to do whilst we were there and gave us some background to the area. Room was clean and comfortable, with all the things you would expect. Breakfast was well made and cooked in front of you. Would love to visit again.

Just returned from 2 night stay here. The owners are a lovely couple and very hospitable. Couldn't do enough for us. Lovely accommodation and very pretty setting. Breakfast is fabulous. Well done and many thanks :-)

Me and my partner stayed here and we had the Woodstock room I think it's called with the private hot tub. Could not fault the room or the hot tub. We took our own alcohol and even ordered a take away to our room. The receptionist was lovely. We had our breakfast in an open kitchen so you could see...

I stayed here last night with my husband and one of our couple friends. Prior to coming I had looked at the reviews and was very anxious after reading some of them. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception (not the owner) who was very helpful, recommended places to go and could not have been...

As part of a party of 4, upon arrival we were met by the Receptionist, who was lovely and full of useful information about the surrounding areas and couldn't be more helpful. We asked what the situation was regarding using the hot tub, and we were told we could use it at anytime we wanted and up to anytime in...

So, first impressions of The Old Mill were pleasant. Visually it all looks superb, apart from the hot tub which is oddly located in the middle of the grounds as you enter, however this will be covered in detail a bit further on. We were greeted by a friendly, and welcoming lady at reception who couldn't do enough for us....
