As a lover of all things chef and brewer my husband and I visit most around the Northampton area (our favourite being the britannia) however the management has now moved over to the crossroads so this will b our new regular haunt. These two chaps are so friendly nothing is to much trouble so glad they are staying in Northamptonshire...

We have stayed here before, it is basic but clean with good large beds, dated shower/bath but plenty of towels and hot water. In the past we have had rooms near the road but there has never been any problem with road noise, this time we had a room at the back overlooking a field and stream. Sadly the central...

Myself and a friend popped in for a beer yesterday afternoon and the ale was well kept and the bar service warm and friendly. We were so impressed that we returned in the evening rather than eat at the pub we were staying in. We were not disappointed. My colleague had a steak and I had a gourmet burger -...

Cannot understand the negative comments I have seen on this venue. Please don't expect this Hotel to be in the 4 or 5 star class,...

So, it's not the fanciest place around, but for the price we found it excellent value. A bit like an American motel as you drive up to your door rather than entry off a corridor. Decent size tv, massive bed, steam iron and board and a fan. The bed was very comfy, the shower was really powerful, and they actually...
