The Loch Rannoch Highland Club is a Timeshare Holiday complex of 85 properties in the picturesque village of Kinloch Rannoch, in Perthshire, Scotland. Our apartments and Lodges can accommodate between 4 and 8 guests. The properties are available to rent, and a few are available for resale, at very competitive prices. The Highland Club is on the banks of Loch Rannoch, a beautiful loch surrounded by walks and scenic locations. The wild Rannoch Moor stretches to the west, and the Tay Forest Park lies along its southern short. The loch, and the Highland Club are presided over by the majestic Schiehallion, or Sidh Chailleann in Gaelic (Fairy Hill of the Caledonians). This Munro is one of the best known in Scotland, and offers breathtaking views and walks.Nestled on the shores of Loch Rannoch, the Loch Secluded and tranquil, as the early morning mists rise slowly from the Loch it is easy to surmise how JM Barrie was inspired to write Peter Pan during his visits to Loch Rannoch area. The imagination can envisage through the mists the bow wave from Hook's ship as it slowly moves towards its Anchorage. The clubs' set activities include; - "the clan night" where two of our tame and (usually) pacified Highlanders give an extremely interesting talk on local history, the clan system, highland dress, and weaponry. The club organised guided walks are set at a pace that everybody can enjoy. Why not spend an evening showing off your intellectual skills at the club quiz night? A water colour masterclass is also provided by the club with a guarantee that every participant will leave with a painting. Of course, no visit to Scotland would be complete without participating in a whisky tasting class. The clubs set activities are included in the price of your accommodation.Providing comfortable self catering accommodation in a breath-taking setting, with fabulous views over Loch Rannoch each unit is comprehensively fitted out with everything you could require making this your home from home in the Highlands. From Rannoch Station you can catch the train to Fort William and then carry on to Mallaig, either by ScotRail or by the world famous Jacobean steam railway following the renowned route used by this steam locomotive in the Harry Potter films.By road Pitlochry, Perth, Aberfeldy, Aviemore and Inverness are easily within day visit radius.Wi-Fi facilities are provided free on-site.

Great scenery and great location for a very relaxing break. Plenty of very nice restaurants to eat out at nearby. Watch the wild life on the hills sitting in a conservatory. Try to get a second floor apartment as that enhances the views.

This is the 3rd time we’ve swapped our accommodation through Dial an Exchange and it’s the 3rd time we’ve been given substandard accommodation in return. There’s definitely a pattern emerging! We stayed in Highland Lodge 4. Very ugly property with outdated decor. Although the

We are very sorry you had a disappointing stay, Our housekeepers spend several hours cleaning each lodge so we can only apologise that there was still a smell of dogs this I can assure you is not normally the case and we take great care to ensure each lodge is thoroughly cleaned and checked prior to guests arriving The power failure on the 23rd was caused by a major network fault to the power supply for the whole area including the village and surrounding areas, Scottish Power had 3 crews of engineers out within half an hour and did a good job of getting the power back on very quickly, all our phones in the office are digital so it was not possible to ring the office but our maintenance people were on site updating people It is very unusual for us to have a problem with the water supply, as it was Christmas Eve we had only one maintenance person on call and he spent until almost midnight outside on the side of the hill repairing the fault and getting the water back on

We had a lovely week here enjoying beautiful views and walks. Our lodge was at the top of quite a steep hill (51 steps) to reach door! We were delighted to see a large banner advertising delicious pizzas could be ordered at reception, however, when we tried to do this informed

Its good to hear that you enjoyed your week with us and the beautiful scenery and walks that we have here at Loch Rannoch, the sign advertising Pizzas is at the Macdonald Hotel which is next to our lodges but not in any way connected to us but still unfortunate that they had not removed the sign, we hope that you will stay with us again in the future

Hi, Every lodge on the site is in a complete refurbishment programme and have been for some time. Some of the lodges have been fully refurbished, others have been subject of an interim refurbishment and all of the others will be completed over the next few years. Recent full refurbishments include Eagle, Grouse and Osprey Lodges, Highland Lodges 1 through 5. Highland Lodges 37, 39, 47 and 48, and Otter 1 through 8. Currently we are refurbishing the Lochside Lodges. Others were refurbished longer ago. Hope that helps Loch Rannoch Highland Club Admin
