Our rooms were booked in advance (a few months). When we got to the the hotel on the 29th August 2015, the hotel was no longer in existence. The hotel has now been converted to a Buddhist temple! We booked the hotel (2 double rooms) with Terry. 3 weeks prior I was corresponding through email trying to get an extra... More

We spent The weekend here. The place was absolutely spotless, and the service was 2nd to none. The food was very good and there was plenty of parking space. I would recommend this hotel to anybody it was convenient for Leeds town centre and Harrogate was only 15 miles away.

We first stayed here in winter 2010 when Leeds was covered in snow, and were very pleased with this hotel and a very cosy room. This time it was summer. Our ground floor room was bright, spacious and clean. The rooms are attractively decorated. The beds are comfy. The staff are friendly. The cooked breakfast was excellent. There's plenty of... More

Stayed here on a business trip. It was all a little last minute for a big conference, and almost every other hotel was fully booked. Reasonably priced, and easy enough to get to by bus or taxi. Tucked away from the city centre, good location for University access. Rooms were tidy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the cooked... More

A nice surprise. I had read a few reviews but I still got a nice surprise at how good this hotel is. Not very easy to find but once there easy to park. A grand old hose in neat grounds. Check in was easy and our room way very clean and spacious. No dinner on site but plenty of restaurants... More

Really nice hotel, situated about 15 min walk from city centre, very clean, serviceable rooms, with all you need for a comfortable stay, staff really pleasant, especially at breakfast, they were efficient and very professional, not pestering. Breakfast was really nice and plenty of choice. Situated in nice gardens with parking, would recommend to anyone. Only thing I could say... More

I only spent one night here but thought it was a beautifully secluded spot, particularly welcome after a stressful Friday night drive up the motorway. I was given a very warm welcome when I arrived, and was pleased to be able to park immediately outside with no problems. The room was large and clean, if not done in the most... More

I spent the weekend at The Cliff Lawn whilst visiting my son in Leeds. The house is very imposing and interesting, but does need a little tlc. A lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. Inside, though,is very acceptable. I have had a knee replacement and stairs aren't my best friends! I told the hotel this in advance and was given a ground... More
