This is one of those rare hotels I wouldn't want to stay in again even for free. It needs so much modernizing it is ridiculous. It has such a great potential that it makes you even more mad that someone doesn't invest in it.

no the ferry arrival point is on the opposite side of the bay, technically you could walk the whole way but it would be well over an hour. The local bus waits for the ferry and will take you to Starigrad town, make sure you get the right bus!! or you can get a taxi that will take you too the hotel. Please note the Arkada is not in the best of condition please read reviews, its location though is outstanding and Starigrad is a wonderful place for a holiday
