Detailed Reviews
A diamond nestled between Naples and Sorento. The holiday started before we arrived as Hilary had contacted the hotel to enquire about trips, costs and availability. Antonino reply was prompt and friendly and saved us time as we were only there 3 nights. Luciano well an adventure in itself the manager arrived in a V class Mercedes, whilst we were driving Luciano was a fountain of knowledge as he was born in the village, so this was really helpful, he was letting us know where the ferry port was in the village the bank, places to visit and the price we should be paying. On arrival at the hotel Antonio Dominique and Carmen made us very welcome the tickets were waiting for us and the rooms were ready, immaculately clean from the foyer, lift, dining rooms bedrooms and pool what pride the hotel took in this department. The shuttle stops at 8pm back to the hotel but this was not a problem Luciano took us to the train which was 5 minutes from the hotel, Pompeii was two stops well worth a visit Napes and Sorento a few more stops. Naples was hectic due to Naples winning the football, Luciano took us to the local port where the ferry for Capri left, when we arrived Hilary notice the fishing boat has brought the catch direct to the fishmongers as Hilary was interested in the process being an auditor Luciano took us both direct to the fishmongers to see the process which in itself was amazing and then whisked away for a strong coffee before the ferry left. (priceless) Capri was lovely worth a visit to go up the single cable car, once at the top we took photos, but instead of getting the cable down we walked down the mountain path this was fantastic as we could see so many flowers not for the unfit. We ate at the hotel on the last night where a small birthday party was being held, this party had checked out of the hotel went to Sorento after one night in Sorrento they ask Luciano if they could come back. He arrange the whole think brining in folk singer the birthday party was just so happy and we all enjoyed the night. So the highlight after a hectic day the hotel offers peace you can sip your coffee whilst looking out of your balcony at Mount Vesuvius, you can hear the birds and Hilary was allowed to help herself to the Lemons and Oranges growing on the trees in the grounds. WELL DONE Team Luciano and your CREW . We will be back God Bless and thanks a million.

This family run hotel is situated in not very remarkable surroundinds, at a small distance of Herculaneum and Pompei. It offers pleasant rooms and excellent service. We stayed there at the end of October so there were ver few guests and breakfast and dinner were served in a small room near reception. We just ate what happened to beon offer but that was always excellent.
The manager was avery friendly person and always ready for a chat and the same goes for the rest of the personnel.

My husband and I loved our time at this hotel. We booked for the view of Vesuvius, and also because we read the reviews about how helpful the hotel staff were. We were not disappointed!
Antonio communicated with me from the moment the booking was made. He made suggestions but in no way did he ever go for the “hard sell” and he was recommending places to visit with no pressure at all.
He arranged a transfer from Napoli Centrale station so that we could relax after a long train journey from Bologna, and that is to be recommended.
The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and the rooms have lovely high quality Italian furniture. The view from our room balcony (Girasole, meaning sunflower) of Vesuvius was amazing. We enjoyed sitting there having a drink.
The food at the hotel was good. Dinner was a high standard, and even our club sandwich by the pool was awesome! Tomasso worked hard to look after the guests in the restaurant.
The hotel ran a shuttle to the local station. Don’t be put off by the station looking a bit run down, it was safe, and many locals travelled with us including to Pompeii, Sorrento and Naples.
I can safely say Antonio’s assistance with booking a guide for Pompeii and travel advice made our holiday!
I have two tiny little complaints, that are really minor. One, the maids knock on the door and keep trying again even if you have a do not disturb sign up….and two, there is repeated music playing at the hotel, through speakers shaped like rocks. It starts to grate on you! We asked for this to be turned off when we were by the pool.
I’d highly recommend the hotel and we plan to return.

I was lucky enough to stay here for my visit to Napoli, and when I say lucky - I mean it. The property is absolutely gorgeous and boasts spectacular views from many balconies, the restaurant produced beautiful fresh and plentiful dishes that offered new culinary delights daily. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience memorable and I can easily count it amongst the best experiences of my life. Thank you to everyone there , I hope to return shortly!!

Great experience near Naples! Very nice, clean and elegant hotel. We also had very good meals at their restaurant (my daughter swears that their ravioli was the best she had in Italy). But the best part were the people: Antonio, Carmen, Luciano and Thomaso. Antonio helped us arrange all the trips and made it very easy for us to go around. Thomaso, is a wonderful person with passion for music and also a trove of information. They made our stay very pleasurable by being very professional and also very warm. Hope to see them again.

We stayed for 5 nights and received what can only be described as outstanding service and hospitality from arrival to departure. The hotel is well appointed with a stunning views whichever way you look. Our room was spacious and quite well appointed though the bathroom was becoming in need of a refresh. We had a balcony with stunning views across to Sorrento and Capri. The hotel grounds are immaculate and include an excellent swimming pool with a poolside bar and views back to Vesuvius. The hotel is a little isolated if you don’t have a car although a free shuttle is available to and from the local railway station which is only a few minutes away and from there all local attractions can be accessed fairly easily. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay most notable for the warmth of welcome and the outstanding approach to customer care as nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you to the team at the hotel we would definitely return if in the area.

The people here are what make this place! And the incredible views. And the incredible food! We stayed here unexpectedly because I had a massive heart attack and my wife needed a place close to the hospital. The resort staff treated her like family, providing her daily shuttle service to the hospital. When I arrived, they made special heart healthy meals for me everyday. The views of Mt Vesuvius on one side and the Bay on the other are spectacular! The open air dining is excellent.

This hotel was beautiful. The food was excellent and the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. NOTHING was too much trouble.
The view of this hotel was exactly what we wanted for my budding Volcanologist, seeing Mount Vesuvius from our room and the pool made this trip extra special.
We climbed the Volcano during our stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s just perfect.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our trip so special.

Dinner was average, nothing special. Breakfast was also average. The entire hotel is outdated. The standard double room is very small. Payment by credit card was extremely difficult due to the poor Wi-Fi.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Antonio at the reception—he’s fantastic!
