This hotel is 900 meters from the ferry. We were recommended by our hotel in Milazzoa and couldn't be happier. The couple who runs this small hotel are so friendly, and helpful. The small restaurant looks out to the sea and so many nice touches. This is a wonderful place to stay and Salina is a beautiful island. We would...

This is my 2e time in this hotel. I like it!!! Very well located near the ferry, nice view, nice prices, loungebar for drink, breakfast; all ok. Clean rooms. Little minus: airco doesn't work really well. The beach in the front of the hotel has stones, like the whole island almost.

Fantastic stay in this marvelous location. The rooms are fresh, views great. The hospitality cheerful. I love everything about this place that was my favorite in all of Sicily. From the moment I arrived the staff was eager to please. The room safe was an asset. I loved the access to a taxi: Gianfranco who took me around the island...

Wow, what an experience. We stayed 4 nights in a lovely room with an exceptional attached terrace with sea view (room 8, probably the best in the hotel), from where you can watch the ferries and hydrofoils arriving at the port. It really is an oasis of calm here: a whitewashed building with very tasteful, simple but stylish furniture, carefully...

Without doubt the best place to stay in Salina - Hotel Mercanti di Mare is a beautiful little hotel with so much charm and is fantastically located just by the piazza. We stayed in one of the rooms which had it's own private terrace - the room was spotless and so comfortable. The hotel bar is an equally lovely place...

We chose to stay at Mercanti di Mare because of its proximity to the port in Santa Marina. It is a short and easy walk to the hotel - far enough from the bustle of the arriving ferries to be relaxing and close to everything including the bus stops. Dario, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has...

We enjoyed our brief stay in this lovely hotel. It was comfortable, clean, well-appointed and most of all we enjoyed having our own private little terrace overlooking the beach, with marvellous rattan chaises longues to sit on. It was end of season and hardly anyone around so it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. No breakfast offered at...

We just lobbed on Salina with nothing booked. As we trudgedt toward town from the boat we saw this wonderful little hotel right at the port. Luckily there was a vacancy and the lady even gave us a discount because we were late. Later on we attended the bar and were given friendly and prompt service including snacks by Dario...

A terrific place to stay. Close to the port and the best gelato on the island. We had a room that slept four people. It was a little tight but the room had a very large balcony where we had lunch and could watch the passing parade of people as it overlooked the piazza and a little bar next to...
