A superb few days thanks to the help of Luca and the Confortola family who ensured we had a fabulous time on the slopes and in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble so we really had a most memorable trip. The food really was superb using local specialities and an excellent wine list at very reasonable prices. We'll be...

I visited this hotel for 5 days last week with my 3 year old. It was our first experience of a ski holiday and we had an amazing time. Having never experienced a ski resort before, let alone with a toddler, I was a little apprehensive in the days prior to arriving at the hotel, about how the stay would...

Having visited the hotel for well over decade this was our first year with 2 young children. We were well looked after from the first moment stepping off the ski lift. With a 5 month old and a 3 year old we were transported directly to the door of the hotel and our baggage attended to. The room was spacious...

Our first experience of this hotel in 2014 was so impressive that we decided to book our wedding there the following year. Although I spent there only one night in August 2015 - on a bike trip through the Pennine Alps - I can confirm the warm and familiar atmosphere of this hotel. It is foremost the cordiality and helpfulness of the Confortola family which makes you feel very comfortable.

Spent 4 days here last weekend (at the same wedding as the reviewer below). The staff in the hotel are wonderful, amazingly helpful, welcoming and so friendly. On most mornings I was the first one up and sat and chatted with the staff while they got the breakfast ready. Their English is great, far better than the two or three...

Just back yesterday after a fantastic long weekend at my cousin's wedding in this hotel. Our hotel hosts were excellent, and really friendly. Luca sorted out the taxi service to and from the airport for us and we just paid it as part of the hotel bill, which was really convenient, and the taximan Carlo was full of great local...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Imagine a vacation in the mountains, a unique and peaceful place among the Italian Alps. Our lodge is located in a very impressive, yet off-the-beaten-path, peak: the Alpe di Mera in Valsesia, in one of the valleys of Mount Rosa. We strongly believe in the authenticity of this little corner of paradise and we are proud to offer unforgettable moments to loyal customers who return each year to visit us. Alpe di Mera is the only one of its kind in the Alps: a village at 1,600 meters, which in summer is surrounded by lush green pastures, while the snow in the winter creates a remote getaway, accessible only by snowmobile or by chairlift. An experience for body and mind: in this mountain oasis, you can immerse yourself in complete relaxation, find the peace of silence and discover the charm of the mountains while enjoying a stunning view of the impressive Mount Rosa. Rifugio Camparient combines a family hospitality with an on-going commitment to satisfy the needs of its guests. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the rooms are rustic and comfortable, the restaurant filled with appetizing dishes to be paired with great wine. Enjoy the sauna, the gym and many other amenities like the snow-school provided to make your holiday even more enjoyable. There's nothing like the comfort of the slopes right outside the hotel's doors or the serenity of seeing children play outdoors. At Rifugio Camparient you can live the joy of sharing priceless moments with your family, friends or partner. Now that you're intrigued, we wait for you with open arms and send our best wishes. ... more   less
