My partner and I just returned from a week away at the hotel. The whole experience in the hotel was good, staff where plesant and helpful, check in only lasted couple of minutes and the room was to a good standard. Our room was on thr 4th floor, lovely view of the beach and waterpark and pool area. The food was good, some nights where themed like mexican night etc but mainly food repeated each day which by day 4 we had enought of. The food was couple of salads, pastas, rice, meat like chicken beef or pork. The pool was nice and cool for the weather, loads of sunbed available with some guests booking theirs by thr pool at 6am. The room was spacious, balcony was also big enough and room was cleaned each day by the staff. In regards to entertainment we actually never attended any as it was located at the other hotel opposite. A minus of this was that the entertainment was loud and heard until around 11pm. The all inclusive alcoholic drinks where a little disappointing. Coctails where already pre mixed drinks and did not have much alcohol in it so that was disappointing. In overall, it was a good holiday, which could have been improved by more variety of food and cocktails not being premixed.

All hotel staff (bar one on reception) were friendly, helpful, welcoming and really could not have worked hard enough!! A special mention to Nicola on reception as she helped with a few extras and was very attentive 😊 The rooms were spotless and very spacious! We were a family of 10 and had four rooms in total and all were of a high standard. Pre arrival we requested top floor and rooms close to one another and this was arranged (which added an extra special touch to our holiday). Beds were ok, a little hard if you are a side sleeper so I requested an extra pillow to help with comfort and this worked for me. The food was good, exactly what we expected…always found something nice to eat and have done many all inclusive holidays - this hotel was on par with the others. I don’t know what some people expect and how they validate writing their negative reviews? Maybe it’s their first experience of all inclusive and their expectations are too high 😆 Bit disappointed that we couldn’t take inflatables in the pool, however it’s a small pool so understandable. We visited out of school holidays and it was busy enough, not sure we would have enjoyed the pool as much in the middle of summer hols. We chose to stick to policy and not put towels out yo reserve beds by the pool until our last day - WARNING!! Even if you do this some guests will remove your towels and throw them to one side even if they do not intend on using the beds for the first half of the day… I felt slightly irritated by those who put towels on beds by the pool and did not use them until after 2pm - shocking and unfair on those who are up early but feel uncomfortable reserving beds. If you notice this then maybe tell the staff and they will hopefully handle this. My only ‘gripe’ with the hotel really is the entertainment area!! It caters for 3 large hotels and there is barely enough room for 1 hotel so lots of disappointed people searching for somewhere to sit at 8pm and many very arrogant people who decide to stand directly in front of your table so they get a view of the stage (not taking into consideration the people sitting behind who can see nothing but their rear end and had to get to the entertainment at 7pm to get a seat). Personally, I did not enjoy the beach as it looks very different to the photos - dark sand, lots of dead fish and feels a little run down. We ventured into Mogan by taxi and this was well worth it if you are a beach lover. 24 euros each way for a 7 seater so nearly same price as bussing but quicker and more comfortable. Water park was enjoyable but does need some ‘love’ - the fact that it was included on the price was a bonus though. Super cat trip was fun - a little pricey but we saw dolphins, food included was lovely and the banana boat was a laugh. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family but probably wouldn’t go back due to the beach area and insufficient space to enjoy the evening entertainment - felt a little rushed at dinner time knowing how early tables get filled up. So glad we went and did not change our hotel!!! It was a wonderful holiday overall and just wish that my 13yr old daughter didn’t have access to Tripadvisor prior to our trip as she felt incredibly anxious in the lead up to our holiday after reading the shocking/negative reviews.

From the outside it is impressive and the reception and pool area are lovely. The bedroom that we had on the 6th floor was lovely and spacious but needed to be painted as the walls were scuffed and tired, most mornings at 7 o'clock a terrible loud buzzing noise could be heard not good when your on holiday. The food for breakfast was good and lunch was also very good but dinner at the evening was terrible and I am not a fussy eater also the all inclusive drinks were awful I found. The ice cream for children were kept behind the bar and there was no sign to say they were there but a sign telling you what ones you could buy was on display. This is advertised as a 4 star hotel but I have been in better 3 star hotels.I must say that the staff are excellent, hard working and always very courteous.

An outdated, grubby, grotty resort. From the hotel, to the water park, to the amusements. The whole experience was just awful. Our room was in much need a renovation and my son and wife got sick half way through our break, which I am convinced is down to poor hygiene. The water park was dirty. The miniature golf must be 20 years old and looks it. Probably the worst holiday I’ve ever had, we couldn’t wait to come home.

The hotel it self is a beautiful hotel , rooms , pool , waterpark, location, absolutely perfect. the BIGGEST disappointment was the catering, the food was SUB STANDARD. Breakfast was cold , with beans tasting like straight from the tin. Lunch was virtually the same every single day , with not even any sandwich meats or different cheeses. The evening meal , was just unbelievably unacceptable , pasta, bolognese , pizza, every single night, with the odd different item, struggled to put a meal together with the food that was on, literaly about 5 choices of food. It was very BASIC and MINiMAL,seen loads of chefs walking around, but the food that was served was no way at the quality of a proffesional chef. I felt sorry for parents with children, in my opinion there wasn't any food that would appeal to children at all. All food was tasteless, evening food , was scraps that was left over from lunch, turned into a different dish. I got the impression the hotel is not giving the customers what they pay for. The Desserts are just frozen TEA party Desserts, which wasn't replenished. Salads just looked and tasted days old. Most nights we couldn't eat anything. The bar didn't allow all inclusive to have bottled water , had to pay for it, the slush for the children you had to pay for, the cocktails tasted just like cordial pop , there wasn't any bar snacks available on all inclusive, no crisps, nuts etc. I just think the catering side of the hotel is a HUGE let down for the hotel as a whole. The lifts are just a useless system , nearly everybody just used the stairs as the lifts was FAR to long wait for, 2 lifts that are not in sync at all. If the catering was improved I would return , but if the catering doesn't improve then i would not be returning.

Was there in August so fairly busy, food was okay always something to eat they do themed nights, fizzy drinks available from 10am by pool side. Food at pool side was not great. There is a supermarket amongst the shops. Evening entertainment got busy quickly so make sure you get there early. only saw one crockroach (outside) sunbeds if you want to be next to the pools very late at night or early doors always managed to get one tho, little yogurt pots like ice-cream is available! We have a family room which were a lovely size, Rooms cleaned everyday beds made, fresh towels, mopped through. Reception helped with any information. Also chatted to some of the locals in the shops and told us about different places to try etc. 1st holiday abroad for my 2 children, we all actually had a really lovely time! Meet some nice people locals really friendly. Did a day trip to porta Morgan which was beautiful (didn't go on market day) would go back. The only downside was the waterpark its salt water and not very clean! Other then that all around good holiday. Hope this helps

Booked through On The Beach as a 4 star hotel. £2.5k. We went during the ATC crash and had no support or contact from OTB, tried contacting but nothing, lost out on our lounge booking as the airport was chaos and wouldn't let us through. I don't want to be horrible as we had a good time but I did find myself getting upset with a few things which isn't right when you save up to go on a nice holiday. I paid extra to have a 4 star hotel, looking forward to a little bit of luxury, some nicer food, some nicer drink options, some over the basic extras. None of the above happened, the cheaper 3 star across from the hotel had pretty much the same on offer. The food was OK, some nice touches but it only varies slightly every day so it gets very boring, it's also filled out with a variety of stews which aren't holiday 4 star choices! The desert choice never changed. Its all self service, no laid tables, get your own cutlery etc. Pool snack are poor, very odd burgers, some weird pink pork thing. Overall food was not 4 star and disappointed overall. The drink was OK, nice beer on tap, nice wine on tap, tiny glasses so you are constantly refilling. If you want spirit's they are basic and cheap tasting, these are ordered at the one bar in the whole hotel which is outside by the pool and the queue can be long. Paper cups again give a really cheap nasty taste and feel. We didn't have any cocktails as they had a price list up and these were an extra 4 euro each. Ice lollipops extra £2 each. It was starting to feel like a budget experience. Pool, that was another negative. Its small and only has a few sun loungers around it so be up at 5am if you want to bag one so you can see the kids swimming. Pool was closed for 2 days in a row as someone pooed in the pool, yeah twice! The scoop it out and add some chlorine ready for opening in the morning. Guess what? We all got ill from it, rashes and ear infections. This hotel has no on site Entertainment! It's a small walk way and it services 3 different hotels. Each hotel has 650 rooms, say 3 per room average, over 3 hotels, it's means a fair crowd all running for tables which there weren't enough of by far and the queue for a drink was long. Entertainment was only 2 hrs total, 1hr baby disco, 1hr more mature Entertainment. That's it all shut. The cheaper 3 star hotel actually joins the Entertainment area so they get in first. Rooms were kept clean and nice and clean. The staff nice so not all bad. We went to the beach on the days the pool was shut and found that to be filthy, fag buts, rubbish and broken glass in the sand so we'd almost given up now. If you get a really good cheap deal on this hotel (valle) and you aren't hoping for a bit of a luxury experience then go for it, otherwise I'd stay somewhere else. I will be writing to On The Beach.

First of all I am or should I say was a regular Jet2 customer Alcudia Club Mac last year ok 3 star hotel I knew what I was expecting. Let’s spend a little more money and get a 4 star hotel well TBH wish I’d booked butlins or a caravan at home which I’ve also done plenty of times. I’m a single dad travelling with my little girl so regular book holidays with friends and this isn’t any different and I’m so glad they were here because entertainment wise we’d of gone to bed at 10pm after food (I’ll come back to this) and a couple of games of pool which 1 night I sat and waited for nearly 2 hours for. Entertainment in the first 3 days was a game of pool volleyball, zero music around the pool and zero atmosphere. The night time entertainment is as standard mini disco (20mins) but be careful that’s not every night. And about half hour of adult entertainment if you call it that. Did I forget to mention this is in a square which several hotels use and right next to arcades, trampolines, go karts which are so all overpriced it’s untrue and was costing me £20 a night as she was so bored from been bored all day this is along with the 8 other kids we came with. Be aware ZERO TOLERANCE on INFLATABLES or water guns or even a tennis ball to throw in pool but ok at the 3 star pool across the otherside :-( pictures taken several days and times will be following up with my complaint to jet2 I’ve submitted a complaint to the customer relationship manager who slammed the complaint form down on the desk after I requested to have some entertainment on day 4 around the pool after I had pointed out that the same group of hotels have inflatables, water guns, balls of the pools I was accused of lying and was VERY rude to me. Bear in mind that the Assistant Manager and I presume all managers/staff work across the hotels here because I’ve regular seen them in different hotels as I’ve walked around to find out what hotels allow what. WATERPARK is SALT WATER and so salty it was hurting my daughters eyes and the others kids that they went once and never went back. Food well it doesn’t get any better than the above, quite frankly dog food looks more appetising. Breakfast I had under cooked omelettes or a bit of fruit to eat but I’ve now given up there too and settled just for orange juice or a coffee. I’ve never seen carrots or sprouts for breakfast. It’s canteen food which looks like it’s been recycled from yesterday. Pool snack bar, wouldn’t touch it for the life of me, my daughter went to get a hotdog and a new batch had just arrived (first in the queue) long black hair on top really my daughter hasn’t been back. Same food everyday hotdogs and pasta but you go across to the 3 star which is 10 Minutes walk you can get a burger. Zero chicken nuggets day or night if your child is a fussy eater and trust me the night food is as appalling it’s the same recycled junk they served you earlier and yesterday no variety. Very basic food, a desert island, a salad island, cheese and sliced processed meats (no ham) a small hot cooked food prep area which has about 10 different things in including chips/rice/2trays of pizza and odd bits. Pool bar you have 1 person serving all day so expect to queue for drinks and there is a limit of how many drinks you can get so if you a single mum/dad and have a couple of kids expect you queue twice if they can’t go to bar with you. So we’ve ended up eating out down at the restaurants by the beach only a couple do food and pretty standard but edible. I asked my daughter to rate food at hotel to the restaurants near the beach and her answer was 2/10 hotel, 9/10 restaurant. I’m no snob I’m a working class man but when I’ve spent £2500 on a holiday for me and my daughter thinking a bit of a better hotel this year and better food and it’s been a complete waste of money. Between a group of 14 of us and under 4 seperate bookings were all of the same opinion. If I can offer one bit of advice, book somewhere else.
