Every luxurious Balinese hut in this village is unique and they all have stunning views of the ocean. Only a few have air conditioning in one bedroom only, and I believe only one has A/C in two bedrooms. The rest have no A/C. All living areas are outdoors and you are open to the humidity. I say this to set the right expectation. If you can handle humidity then you will love this place.
The staff are very caring and management does everything possible to make people happy.
This remote village suffers a lot of electricity outages but if you don’t need A/C then there isn’t much need for it. The pool and bar remain open, so you don’t need more than that!
The restaurant is fabulous with very fresh ingredients. The staff are very pleasant and wanting to please.
This is located near to a wonderful reef and tour operators willing to take you out snorkelling at discounted rates.

The staff at Bloo Lagoon are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much of a problem for them. The accommodation is very good. The mosquito nets in the bedrooms are very effective and work nicely in conjunction with the air conditioning. The restaurant is very good although more variety at breakfast would be an improvement. the swimming pool is superb along with the scenery.

Attentive and Courteous staff
Everything you need in a resort, restaurant, swimming pool, and a beautiful relaxing environment.
Just no frills. Bed was a pad, and mostly "Balinese style" and "eco-friendly".
That means very little lighting and walking around at night requires great care. Air Conditioning was limited to the bedroom and you have to use your light on your phone to read the menu in the restaurant.
Not a place for handicapped as there was a lot of walking up and down narrow passages.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are very happy that we provided everything you needed and that you enjoyed our relaxing environment. Occasionally, on nights when the termites come out and shed their wings, we use candles in our restaurant.

I visited Padangbai to launch a Reef Rehabilitation Diving Trip and found that this is the only eco accomodation in the area so it was the biggest reason why i stayed. I'm super glad that other than implementing eco values that warms my heart, Bloo Lagoon Eco Village also has a very beautiful view both inside and surround the villa. The location is also perfect for me to depart for my diving trip as it's just down hill away from Padangbai shore. I could just walk down from the villa to the shore if i prefer, and i could also call the shuttle car to pick me up in the shore when i was tired after the diving.
I'm also grateful with the helpful staffs. I told them that i wanted to visit the Temple for Galungan (One of Balinese big day) and the staff accompanied me and friends to teach us how to pray, lent us the proper Balinese sarong as well as preparing canangsari for the offering. Definitely a super excellent stay, will definitely come back again.

This eco hotel had the most amazing views. We were lucky enough to have the sunrise to one side and the volcano to the other plus 180degree sea view.
The villas are open with only the bedrooms being separated. Bathrooms are outside. You will have wildlife so if this bothers you this isn’t the hotel for you.
The helix restaurant again has stunning views and serves great food.
Beautiful pool. Lovely spa which I made plenty of use of. Couple of minutes to a small beach. Ferry over to Gilli island.
The village is small with a few bars and restaurants but if you want a get away location you won’t be disappointed.

What a perfect spot to enjoy your Bali escape! This is exactly what you might imagine when you think of an exotic Bali getaway! Blissful serenity, floral beauty, astounding views are everywhere you turn. Mt. Agung looks closer than it is! You can start your day with a free yoga session and the spa offers quite a selection of therapeutic or beauty options. The spiral staircase leads to a circular rooftop restaurant where more breathtaking views await. The menu variety includes something even for the unadventurous diner in your group or you can enjoy local dishes, too. Breakfast fruits include lychee, mangosteen, snakefruit and dragonfruit along with watermelon and pineapple. Cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience all of it has been at the Bloo Lagoon.

6 days of relax and well being in that wonderful eco-village. Special award for all the staff who is welcoming and super attentive to make sure you feel comfortable. They provide good advices and are very efficient to help you planning your activities.
The villa are clean, cosy and with fantastic views. We recommend bedrooms with aircon if you are not comfortable with the nighttime sounds (frogs, geckos … but they are friendly and won’t disturb you).
The pool is beautiful with lot of flowers around. We had a pleasant surprise discovering an hidden slide and a small cave.
Restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh made dishes, coming from the garden. View is amazing, 180 degrees on the sea. Although the service is quite slow due to the fact that each meal is prepared at the moment. However it is worth waiting!

If you are a nature lover, this is THE place to to for you! You basically sleep in open air huts so you must be bug-ancious free but if you are you will LOVE it!
Amazing views, really tasty food at the restaurant and all of that at affordable prices. Yoga and high quality breakfast is included in the room rate. Also a free shuttle is available at anytime to get down to the city or to the blue Lagoon beach(because the place is on a very steep mountain) . Yoga class is by the way really good and starts at 7:30 which is an easy to do time for anybody I believe. Pool has a stone slide, lots of fun for kids. There are monkey here so you need to hide your food when in the room not to make them become as nasty as the monkeys in Ubud.
This place is so magical! Would definitely suggest to a friend and also revisit when next time in Bali.

Wow! A lovely holiday with stunning views and great service. We were really well looked after by the staff from Bloo Lagoon, with a great breakfast each day, good meals served in the restaurant, pool-side and to our villa, fabulous spa treatments and helpful reception staff, who arranged a driver/tour guide for us.
We loved the "indoor/outdoor" living, with our two bedrooms enclosed and open living areas (which were sheltered from any showers). The accommodation was comfortable and cleaned daily. We enjoyed seeing the birds, geckos and frogs, along with the stunning landscaping and beautiful flowers around the site - I didn't know I could spend so long just staring at the stunning scenery!
In answer to some of the questions visitors may have:
- Drinking water is provided in your accommodation and refreshed when needed. It's a great idea to bring reusable water bottles
- Separate towels for the villa and for the pool were provided
- The kitchenette included a fridge, 2-ring gas hob, crockery and cutlery
- The staff were incredibly helpful! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really well looked-after
- Even though it was full, the resort never felt busy or crowded. Quiet, laid-back and relaxing!
- The pool and grounds are beautiful, clean and well-maintained. Plan in some time to relax in comfort!
- We'd strongly recommend asking reception to book a driver/tour-guide. It was a great way to see the island and learn lots about Bali - and our driver was knowledgable and great on the busy Bali roads
- We were a bit worried about insects beforehand but they really weren't a problem! There are mosquito nets around the beds and it's a good idea to cover-up and use insect repellent if you're outside at dawn and dusk.
- You can walk to and swim from the beach at Bloo Lagoon, but it was easier to swim out and back in during the mornings, as the wind can pick up in the afternoons. Using the hotel's shuttle service and hiring a boat to take you out to the reef makes it more accessible.
A huge thank you to everyone at Bloo Lagoon for making us feel so welcome.

Beautiful!! Views were amazing from the villa which is all open (toilet/shower outside) slept looking over the harbour. Cool pool with a waterslide. Breakfast was fantastic which looking over the beach and mountains.
The town itself is quiet but we enjoyed a well priced meal/drink before heading off to Gili T the following day. Would love to stay again.

Hi. ekectric Plug is 220 volt. Size is two round cylindrical pins a bit fatter than the korean type. Adapters are easily found in padangbai. But if your machine is not dual voltage you will need a 220 to 110 step down AC transformer. You can find in Denpasar. Padangbai won't have it. Better to bring one.
