We had a room on the ground floor twins bed uncomfortable very noisy room since beside the corridor door to reception. Bathroom ok no more. Big disappointment. Staff is fairly friendly no more. My advice: Do not book a dinner at the resaurant of the hotel food is widely under average we had croquette frozen still..... food is fat took lambs chops too much cooked, no request on how much the meat should be cooked, standard wine undrinkable desert frozen and plates presentation "like home". So not worth it. Staff fully inefficient and obsequious. Spa is nice not sure about the hygiene though... bit old and would need to be freshened up. Massage salon: professional but no sure about the efficiency of the massage since it seems there was no search of painful points to resolve them, however relaxing that is the aim no? So I know they make spa wk end with options resto etc... my advice go to SPA avoid the resto and u can find better massage somewhere else. Outside of the resto environment not really pleasant. Beside a busy road and no real garden.…
Beautiful hotel, can’t fault the appearance or cleanliness. Staff hit or miss. Very slow to serve- 3 people behind reception but no one at bar on a few occasions- staff at reception just stare or ignore. Food is restricted to sandwich or frozen pizza during the day and restaurant not open hill 8:30 or nine and closed on Sunday. Spa is out with cost of room and extremely restrictive. 26 Euro’s per person to use facilities for 2 hours per day, plus tariff changes at weekends to higher rate. Very comfortable bed in room but otherwise spartan. “Satellite” TV is a small screen in corner of the room. If this hotel wants to encourage tourists from abroad it needs to - Provide kettle in room Provide fridge in room Have some tourist info available in rooms and in general throughout hotel Promote roman archeological site on your doorstep Attend to customers quickly Provide meals every day of the week- there is no where else! Saving grace was one of the bar staff who provided friendly advice on where to go nearby.…
After searching frantically for a place in Toledo, I stumbled upon this great hotel. Not only is the staff amazing, professional, and beautiful, the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The gardens in the back are so peaceful and the atmosphere is so chill. There is also a Spa I plan to go to next time I visit. I will certainly come back with groups. This place is a hidden gem.....
Excellent value four star hotel, we stayed there on 31st October after a 426 mile drive from the Algarve. The half board option was booked as after a seven hour drive I didn't want to mess about looking for somewhere to eat, the onsite restaurant offered a very enjoyable three course meal which included a bottle of wine and a bottle of water between the two of us. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and good wifi, what more do you need?
We did not enjoy the place or the service. The room was not clean, hair everywhere We were promised a dinner on the house because they have messed up our rooms and even that Was not givenn No one spoke english so their was no one to complain too.. World not reccomend
We stayed here en route to the south of Spain. All around Madrid was pretty bleak but this was a bit out of town. The room was comfortable and clean...no complaint. We overlooked a courtyard garden, which happened to have a wedding going on so it was very entertaining. The spa was terrific...even though we had to wear silly socks and swimming caps. It was thoroughly relaxing..
We spent one night with the whole family (3 suites, and 3 rooms) in July 2014. Everything was good, the spa, the room size too. It is not very noisy and quiet. But we faced a very big problem with parking lots, because we have a handicapped person with us, we could not park on the reserved lots... they were taken by other people. The front desk person was not helpful at all, just mentioning the hotel was not keeping any record on the guests' cars. The worst is that he did not recommend any alternative solution either!!! For that hotel category we were expecting a higher level of service... Despite this front-desk young man being a bit rude, the rest of staff was pleasant to deal with.
Great hotel in a small town between Madrid and Toledo. Very friendly treatment. Nice and comfortable rooms, delicious and assorted breakfast and great spa and relax amenities with several separated areas
The greeting as less than friendly. The room smelt of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. We realised in the morning that the smoking area was directly outside our window. There was a plastic protective sheet on the bed which kept me awake most of the night. To finish it off after half a dozen attempts and half an hour later they still could not get their credit card machine to work so we had to pay in cash. Will never return.
room was pretty nice wifi was super fast in a nice quiet location spa was a rip off it was 60 euro for 2 hours DO NOT USE SPA it was far too expensive staff were very friendly nice bar down at the end of the village
