I have just returned from a cycling holiday with three friends, having spent two nights at this fantastic location. The hostess was very friendly and helpful despite having difficulty with English. We had breakfasts and dinners there which were typically Catalonian, simply prepared and delicious. I strongly recommend a visit to this beautiful spot which would also make a great...

A charming lady proprietor who greeted me on my arrival at this very rural location as part of a working farm, room I had was on the top floor and had lovely views of the surrounding countryside, the property even has a luggage lift so you don't have to struggle with your luggage up the stairs, food was typically Catalan...

Real rural tourism, as the owners are still living from agriculture and livestock (you can see the pens of sheep, goats, cows etc). The house is surrounded by idyllic place of Joanetes (Garrotxa) in La Vall d'en Bas. The accommodation is very correct, with several and spacious rooms and common ground dinning rooms. They are well prepared for winter (we...

Lovely location and proprietor. Very rural and quiet although as noted it is a working farm so city folk may be surprised to find that cows smell. Excellent, simple, farm-style food. Nice rooms (with wifi) with the usual caveat that surfaces are hard and other quests may disturb you my whatever it is these people do in their rooms (bowling?)

I stayed here in May, 2012 for one night as a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago. What a marvelous country inn...Carmen fixed both a huge dinner and huge breakfast using only foods prepared on the farm from vegetables, to meats, to dairy, to breads! What a treat! The rooms have all been upgraded and finished of high quality materials,...

The owner was wonderful and accommodating, but our first room smelled of backed up sewage from the bathroom drain (not good). We were quickly moved to a fine room at the other end of the hotel, but if the hotel had been booked, it would have been an awful stay. So, check the rooms before booking, one half of the...

My husband and I spent a night at this “farm stay” in mid May 2010, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and their attractive décor. The hotel is quite new, clean and comfortable. Carmen, the owner, was charming. She prepared a simple fixed menu dinner that was generally good except that the main course – cuttlefish...
