This is a beautiful spot set away midst lush gardens and mature trees. The rustic building is well appointed and every detail in the comfortable bedrooms has been thoughtfully designed. The views across the Galician countryside are outstanding. The WiFi signal throughout the hotel is excellent. The covered private parking was welcome. We found the set dinner dissapointing and was not...

Dear Dordogner, as I already commented your review on Booking.com, I will not extend here. I just want to thank you again for your kind reviews. I am really sorry dinner did not appeal to you. It was not available everyday simply cause I was thirty-six-week pregnant. Having a fifteen-month-old child and the pregnancy I felt really tired ( also...

Patricia, the owner, made us feel totally at home. Nothing was too much trouble, she gave us ideas, travel maps and guidance on what places to explore. She always took the time to be helpful, to exchange views and ideas, and she speaks very good English. The house was charming, very quiet, beautiful garden and lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was...

Want visit Santiago de Compostela but want to stay away from huffs and puffs of the busy city? Casal de casal is the place to be! You will need a car to stay there, though. It's located about 20 minutes outside of the big and busy city of Santiago. This place is gorgeous! It seats on a hill of Lestedo-...

We stayed for three nights in June 2015. Arriving late afternoon we were warmly welcomed and before being shown to our room asked if we would like supper. The gardens are beautiful with a lovely sunset view, and the pool is very clean and a real delight. Meals were local recipes using ingredients sourced from the gardens. We enjoyed them...

Last week our family of 19 ages 49 to 1 1/2 years stayed a week at this wonderful property. The property could not be better. The decor is perfect and appropriate. All the fixtures and rooms are well maintained. The building itself provided multiple private areas, indoors and outdoors for the family interactions. The pool was also a real hit...

This is a gem. The Casa retains many of the original 15th century features but is also beautifully finished and very comfortable. The gardens and terrace are a perfect spot to rest after our 6 hour walk. We even fit in a game of table tennis before dinner - which was delicious. The setting is so gorgeous we will definitely...

We traveled 6 weeks in Spain and this was our very favorite place. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately, we could not change our plans and stay more than one night. Patricia, the owner, speaks excellent English and made good suggestions, including where to park our car in Santiago de Campostela. It would have been nice to have time...

We stayed on the last night of our walk from Ourense. After walking for 20 kms to the front door (so no problems with sat nav) we were very tired and did not use the swimming pool which looked inviting. We found an outdoor space on a large balcony to rest. Patricia, our hostess spoke English and was very helpful....

This place is great value for money: big rooms (huge, very comfortable bed!), a huge garden with a swimming pool, close to the coast and Santiago de C. Patricia, the sweet and helpful host, serves a lovely breakfast too with lots of cake, bread, cheese and ham. It's all about peace and quiet here. You're in the middle of nature....

Having previously stayed here whilst on the last night of our walk to Santiago, we thought we would bring our children and stay here whilst visiting relatives. We were very late on arrival, having got lost on the way thanks to iPhone maps. when we finally arrived, there was no problem, food was served, and very nice it was to....
