Staying at the Alqueria de Morayma feels like stepping back in time. The rooms are located in a number of casitas and small dwellings, giving the appearance of a little old-time village. The rooms have all the modern conveniences but incorporate many old architectural features, adding to the ambiance. The hotel has a tranquil setting, surrounded by almond and olive...

If you are looking for a charming, less expensive hotel, this is good option. Especially if you are passing by on foot or horseback.Directly from the hotel to marked trials or to a swimmingpool.Lots of ambience combined with good food and wine.

We discovered this place when our family stayed here a couple of years ago. Since then, we have returned every time we are in the area for lunch. The rooms are built in the shape of little Alpujarran houses with their own bathroom. It looks like a little village in a quite spot with wonderful views. They have an outdoor...

This is simply an amazing place to stay and we spent 4 days (3 nights). It is hard to describe it as a hotel (it is classed as a Hotel Rural 2 Star) as it is sort of a rambling complex (dispell any thoughts of moden apartment blocks and concrete) of old village dwellings which have been restored in an...

Stayed in a mountain view room decorated in local style and with it's own private patio. A really comfortable and stunning place. Staff were very professional and friendly despite me having very little Spanish! Food was brilliant - mostly local and very fresh including wine from their own Bodega at €3 a generous glass. The scenery was breath-taking and although...

This hotel, bar, restaurant cannot be faulted for it's location, the gardens were refurbished last year with with wicker furniture and a hammock! The tapas is excellent and the views stunning, we keep returning....we've not eaten in the restaurant for sometime so are unable to comment further.

Beautiful rural venue. The decoration of the room was lovely, very fitting. We had our own patio, which is probably nice in summer when it's more crowded. Only two rooms were occupied while we stayed there so it was very peaceful. Dinner was good, staff was nice but it was helpful we spoke Spanish.

I didn't stay overnight but came for a lunchtime meal which was absolutely delicious, with attentive service. The place is set in the most beautiful countryside in the Alpujarras. Had a stroll around the property and can't wait to come and stay in one of the interesting bedrooms. Most tranquil and pleasant place.

An absolutely outstanding venue. Don't be deceived by its only having two stars! In terms of rustic hospitality it deserves four and in terms of the restaurant, a full five! We never ate anywhere else because the restaurant was so good; outstanding in fact. We soon got to know the staff (a family) by name and they couldn't do enough...

This is a lovely hotel set into the hillside of the Alpujarras. The staff are friendly, the food pretty good, the tinto de casa is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are unique and comfortable. The only downside is that despite saying April on hte website, the pool isn't filled til June, which was a bit disappointing. But there are lovely...
